I love the whole range of Aura Botanica.
5I have wave hair. Aura Botanica knows how to treat curly hair and waves. My hair is not frizzy, nutritious, respect and enhance my waves. Having no parabens or sulfates or toxicity, the sensation is very different from normal and commercial products. It is better because it treats my hair. From the first day, I lose less hair. Without hesitation I advise it for everyone but especially people who need special care or seek hair care and enhance the naturalness of it.

Nice surprise!
5I was a bit sceptical about this product as the reviews seemed so very mixed....some brilliant others dreadful! So I’m very pleased to report that I love it! I have thick long dry hair and a sensitive scalp so I’m always searching for the perfect shampoo.....this one lathers up well and yes I agree with other reviews my hair did feel a bit mat like after shampoo but as soon as I used the conditioner it was excellent....I used my own conditioner first time but have since bought Kerastase conditioner and love that too!

Worst Kerastase product
1I bought this shampoo and conditioner because of its "gentle" formula claim however this has striped y hair of all hydration, shine and softness. I've never tried a worse shampoo in my entire life. I've been using Kerastase products for 10 years and this is the first one that has disappointed beyond words. My hair is colour treated, rather thick so i was looking for something light, but after washing i can't even take my fingers through the hair to apply conditioner! it's the most drying shampoo, i felt i washed with dishwasher. It also doesn't clean very well, you need to apply 3 times at the roots to get the hair clean. I used it 2-3 times and ithen stopped using it completely. The conditioner isn't much better either.

Eco yes - but sadly poor result..
1I have been an enormous fan of Kérastase products for years regularly buying several different products (elixir brand) at my hairdressers - an approved outlet. Aged 62 now, I have natural (uncolored/graying) hair and rely heavily on my hair products to produce the very best condition and vitalised appearance as much as possible. However along with many other people I have also been trying to make changes to my lifestyle to be more sustainable and mindful of our impact on our environment - so was delighted to find Kérastase has created this new Aura Botanical range mostly from natural ingredients. I have now bought several of the different products online and used them in various combinations to see if I can get the same results that I easily achieve with previous elixir brand - very sadly not! ...I feel bad giving such a low review and wished it were otherwise but I will be returning to use Kérastase elixir products until you are able to produce something that ticks all the boxes.

Greasy after washing
1I always use kerastase shampoos & thought I would try this new one. What a complete waste of money. I have stopped using it. Leaves a greasy film on the roots. After washing hair looks & even feels greasy - absolutely awful - avoid!

Love it
5This shampoo, used in conjunction with the conditioner, helped restore my hair to fantastic condition after years of heat styling (still do) and last year's ombré. My hair and scalp are literally squeaky clean after. It feels a little weird at first because it doesn't feel smooth when wet but once I've dried it my hair is shiny and lightweight. I honestly don't think I'll go back to heavy products at the roots (I only ever condition the ends anyway). Just for reference I have long, thick hair. The majority of my head has quite fine hair on it but the crown is thick, dark wiry stuff. The botanica shampoo seems to cope with both pretty well, using it 2-3 times a week.

Not up to the Kerastase Standard
2I feel guilty writing as I'm a superfan of Kerastase products and have never been converted to another brand. I feel compelled to agree with the reviews that say that it doesn't feel like hair is clean afterwards, doesn't lather and that the bottom is greasy. Perhaps its for fine thinning hair? I have lots of hair but it's individually fine so I really struggled to get much out of this one. Hoping this is constructive feedback for Kerastase to advertise products for the correct hair type.

5th bottle in - love!
5I have very fine, brittle, thinning hair - I started using this shampoo, conditioner and both oils when they first went on sale. The results have just gotten better as time has gone on. My hair is much better condition in fact so much so I've decided not to colour my hair again as better condition has meant I don't want to do any damage with colour. I'm so delighted with these products. It took a while to really see the difference but it's been remarkable. Worth every penny! X
