Great smoothing serum
Love this smoothing serum. I have fine, medium length, coloured blond hair that frizzes in the damp. I’ve been using oleo relax on damp hair before blow drying that works perfectly. I do, however, love this smoothing serum to use after drying to smooth any stray bits. My hair smells gorgeous and is smooth and bouncy. It’s not as heavy as the oleo relax, after drying, and is so easy to use. Less is more when using it though. I literally need a couple of finger swipes over the top of the cream and apply it to the mid length and ends. Absolutely love it and would definitely buy again.

Love it!
I read the negative reviews, and I think some are using the product incorrectly. I have normal to fine hair, with tendency to have oily roots. My hair ends are on the dry side. I love using this product after straightening my hair. I rub (not dig) my fingers in the serum, and smooth the flyaways in my roots. I don't need much, and my roots don't go oily. The flyaways get controlled, which is amazing. Then I repeat the step, this time with more product, for the ends. Don't use too much or you'll get unwanted greasy hair. It really does a great job smoothing my hair. It looks amazing after I put this serum. I will repurchase for sure! This tiny pot lasted me for 8 months.

Perfect!
Yes, it' s tiny pot with oily, solid substance in it as actually it' s like concentrate of many oils, but you must just slightly rub your fingers over it, and it will melt from warmth of your fingers. Then apply on hair with fingertips. It gives shine, nourishes hair. They definitely doesn' t look or feel greasy. I love it, use every day on clean, dry hair.

Love it!!!
As a previous poster has advised, the trick with this product is to gently rub your fingers over it rather than dig it out of the pot, if you do so too much will be distributed on your hair making it lank. Less is more and works well to tame fluffy hairs and smells great.

Take the bad reviews with a pinch of salt!
I purchased this despite the bad reviews and wasn't that much looking forward to my item arriving. However, now that I've used the product and read the bad reviews on here, it's clear that people are using this product incorrectly. The size is tiny yes, and someone said they had to get the product out and melt it in their hands and it made their hair greasy - no why? Because you used too much!! This may be called a serum but you swirl your fingers around until you get the lightest layer (don't dig it out of the tub for goodness sake!!) and then you just use it lightly through your lengths. It is a lot more like an oil in balm. Please remember that this is a concentrated product, if your hair is greasy and you're melting it and digging it out of the container then you're just not using it right at all and you will be disappointed both in size and performance!! The best way to use this is as a hair finisher or even you could keep it in your handbag for travel or holidays - it's a wonderful addition. Re the small size, yes it is small but it should last you a really long time...if you use it properly!!!!

It's ok
Bought this as a finishing product but it's just a bit greasy to be honest. Expensive waste of money!! Shame. Probably best for very think hair.

Meh.
Smells nice - however jar packaging and size totally useless. If you can manage to get some on your fingers, it does smooth down ends OK. More like a hard wax than a balm. Bit of a frivolous one, I would save your pennies.

Good product
It's a very nice product but exceedingly difficult to apply due to the size of the jar, it's tiny! Does smooth the hair and makes it feel smooth.

Magic in a jar
This little wonder in a jar is a pocket-sized hair saver for my dry hair in the wintertime. I use it on the bottom of my hair, just a little bit whenever I need to umph up that shine and soften the ends. As a note, my hair is Nordic, yet extremely thick. For me, this serum wont compensate my other oils and leave-ins (also Kerastase range), this to me is just a little extra to save my dry ends and nourish my hair now that I have to blow dry it due to winter season. It smells divine and I just love that elegant and simple jar.

I wouldn't bother..
I am deeply disappointed with this particular Kerastase item. Firstly, I can guarantee you will be immensely disheartened at the size of the product once it arrives. It's tiny.. I've used bigger samples. I was willing to overlook the size and went to use the product this morning. The substance is incredibly awkward to remove from the small tub, it's almost in a solid state and therefore you get too much out. I melted the product using my hands (as directed) and then applied to dry hair.. and nothing. It has made my hair dark, greasy and stiff. I won't be buying this again. STICK TO THE LIQUID SERUM!
