Kérastase’s Genesis Bain Hydra-Fortifiant Shampoo is a clarifying formula that helps to minimise the risk of breakage and hair fall. Ideal for weak, brittle hair, the shampoo gently cleanses the lengths of impurities and excess oils, while leaving strands feeling stronger and fuller.
The formula is fortified with a blend of edelweiss native cells and ginger root to encourage the illusion of thicker-looking hair. Enriched with Aquaxyl for an added moisture boost, the shampoo promotes a lustrous glossy appearance.
- Recommended Amount: A coin-sized amount.
- Application: Wet hair and remove excess water before applying a small amount of shampoo onto the hair. Add water and emulsify.

Great shampoo
I have fussy hair/scalp, super fine hair and scalp is combination, I had been using another brand to help with bleach damage but it was just too heavy and making my fine hair oily. I have a lot of natural hair fall and breakage too so thought I’d try this shampoo - I now get an extra day between shampoos as this is light enough to not bog down my fine hair and also noticing less hairs coming out after a shower and around the house. Highly recommend

Not the best
I have very oily hair and for me this shampoo didn’t do much for that. Didn’t help with hair fall but it is gentle so good for fragile hair.

I know this shampoo is expensive but worth every penny, I suffered a lot of hair loss and this helped me so much I have repurchased this so many times and will continue to always use it as it’s absolutely amazing
