Kérastase Masque UV Défense Active is an after-sun treatment created to repair coloured hair exposed to the sun. Your hair will be left soft and shiny with long lasting colour radiance.
Masque UV Défense Active is formulated with Kérastase’s Photo-Défense Filter which provides active protection against both UVA and UVB rays; cationic silicone which creates a hydrophobic barrier; ceramide to strengthen and reinforce the hair; and cationic derivatives to improve the surface of the hair.
Directions of use:
- Apply to towel-dried hair after using Bain Après-Soleil.
- Massage in gently and rinse thoroughly.
- Photo-Défense Filter : For protection.
- Cationic Silicone : For the hydrophobic barrier.
- Ceramide : To strengthen the fibre structure.
- Cationic Derivatives : Are deposited on the most damaged sections of the hair to improve its surface.

Great smell, does what it says
I purchased this mask as I wanted that extra protection during my summer holiday at the seaside. I've got fine, dry, colored hair and it did what it says on the description. My hair was soft, shiny and manageable. However it stills dry as it is not an hydration treatment.

Brilliant
This is brilliant if you spend a lot of time in the sun. Whenever I go away I always take this with me and every couple. days do deep treatment and leave it on for 1 hour or longer. Depending what time I have to spare and it stops the ends drying out and breaking off

Phenomenal
My hair was super dry after my recent balayage- (all of the bleach!!) and this was absolutely magical in restoring the condition of my hair. My only advice is to keep this in for as long as you can!
