BEST BLOCK IN THE BUSINESS
5As both a style and beauty writer who's tried every sun product going, and as someone severely sun intolerant with thin, ultra pale Celtic skin (as in have to carry a sun parasol and got hospitalised with heatstroke in Eastbourne one September!) I find this product both a summer essential and indispensable year-round. It ticks all the right boxes in being high-factor, providing an extremely high shield against UVA/UVB rays (one of the highest on the market); though effective does not leave any white zinc marks on the face and is easily absorbed; has a light, natural glow great for pale to medium skin tones either worn alone or under foundation; is long-lasting but still handbag portable; is also very affordable. What we call a hero product! Being from the La Roche Posay French pharmacy brand, a key ingredient is pure spa water and like all the other products in the range, as it's designed for sensitive skin, it's dermatologically approved. Other LRP products I have used for several years include the Hydraphase riche moisturiser for winter and light variation for summer; Hydraphase eye gel - great for puffyness/bags, and Nutritic intense any-time moisturiser. People often think I'm several years younger than I am (I'm ahem, 50) and it's all down to decent skincare. I sometimes try other more expensive brands but always come back to this. Whether you're experiencing any kind of skin problem/flare-up, or want skincare essentials without breaking the bank, whatever your age, I highly recommend this along with the rest of the range.

Waiting For The Sun
4This seems a nice texture, very light tint on my skin. Have only tried to test the colour as not been out in any sun this year yet. Not dark enough to use as a light foundation but should give high sun protection as spf 50.
