5I suffer from hyperpigmentation left on my face due to spots and using this, it has made the hyperpigmentation less visible and minimised my pores. Does leave a burning sensation when exfoliated skin prior. So I recommend not to exfoliate skin before using this. Also do wait about an hour after applied this and put on your daily moisturiser as I feel this isn’t hydrating enough and my skin is left slightly dry after only using this.

Can’t live without!!
5I absolutely love this. If I don’t use this product my hormonal acne starts up almost straight away!! At 36 I was getting rather frustrated with suffering from spots, but now I have found this I can keep it under control!! I use the whole Effaclar range, but if you only get one thing make sure it is this!!

5I have tried so many moisturisers and I always go back to this! It keeps my skin super clear and always glowing. It’s hydrating yet not greasy and will always be a favourite.

all time favourite moisturiser
5this is so smooth and glides over my skin, you only need a small amount and the tube is a good size for travelling. there is a slight smell when applying but the cream being amazing cancels that out. highly recommend this cream

Essential skincare
5As someone in their 30s who is prone to breakouts, this is an absolute essential product for me. I use over The Ordinary niacinamide serum morning and night. If I run out and go a few days without one or the other / replace with something else my skin just goes to rubbish. Can feel expensive for such a small tube but it’s worth it.

3Personally, this did absolutely nothing for my skin except irritate and probably exacerbate the problem. I'd say if your skin is leaning on the dry or sensitive side - this product is not for you. That being said, i have friends who love this product, but it is important to include that they have normal skin that leans oily.
