Not a good SPF for the face

I am always on the lookout for an SPF that works well on the face, under makeup, and has skincare benefits. Unfortunately this is not it. I have medium skin tone (NC30) and this SPF has the worst white cast I have ever come across! And I've tested out loads of different types of SPF both physical and chemical. I can't criticise the skincare claims as I find the cream too frustrating to use regularly. However, as a person with dry skin, I highly recommend others with dry skin avoid this SPF at all costs! Whether I use a small or generous amount, I am always left with white bits clinging to any remotely dry area of my face. It highlights texture like no other, and after about half an hour my skin feels extremely dry. As a result, it works horribly under makeup. If you want a cast-free, moisturising but not greasy, good quality SPF, go for the COSrx Aloe one! I am yet to find one that beats it. Perhaps this would work well for someone with oily skin and very pale skin, but for now, I have relegated this to the"use in emergencies only" pile!

Wouldn't buy again

Smells lovely but very thick and not easy to rub in (whole body ended up thick with sun cream/white in appearance as wouldn't rub in!) Wouldn't buy again and not worth the money in my opinion. Disappointing as read lots of positive reviews!

Really Nice

I bought this after doing A LOT of research into natural SPF creams and I am very happy with it. It's lovely and goes on smooth on the skin, a little goes a long way but I only use it on my face for the moment. It does whiten the skin a bit and make it shiny so I took one star away but it is not a dedicated face SPF cream and I use a CC cream anyway so it's not a problem.

Sample to a purchase

WOW unbelievable product, I got this as a sample when I bought some Elemis products and am really into my sun protection now and usually use heliocare for my SPF. I love love love this product! I don’t need to wear any makeup with it, the formula blends into your skin tone so beautifully and just feels like a light weight primer but makes your skin look flawless. One of the best skin care products I have ever come across. Thank you!
