A handheld device that is FDA cleared for the treatment of acne lesions, the Omnilux Clear-U is a safe, painless and effective way of ridding the skin of mild to moderate acne.
Operating a two light system; the blue light of the Omnilux clear-U’s destroys the bacteria that cause acne, while the red light is absorbed by the mitochondria and stimulates intercellular energy for enhanced cell vitality, production of collagen and fibroblast stimulation for collagen synthesis. Directions for use:
- The Omnilux Clear-U recommended treatment program consists of 8 treatment sessions spread over 4 weeks, 2 treatments a week. Use the blue light on the first treatment session, wait 2 days then use the red light. Repeat this for the next 3 weeks.
- Because the light will not damage the skin, there is no limit on the number of treatments you can give yourself. Wait at least 48 hours between treatments.
Please note: Omnilux clear-U can be used on bare skin or on top of treatment cream. It has been tested to International standards to ensure that its outputs are safe for the eyes, however it is supplied with a set of patient goggles that it is recommended that you wear for your own comfort.

Omnilux
Difficult to review at this stage I have only used it twice,therfor have no results as yet. The product is smaller than I thought it would be ,although it does seem quite powerful. The use of it I feel could be more detailed and some reviews would be good too. It was quite expensive so I am definately going to be looking for improvement with my skin after the first treatment is finished. Also not sure how long between each treatments I can re-start another one. More information on the use of it would be great. Packaging was good and delivery was quite quick too especially to Australia. Thanks !

Great for mild to moderate acne
I found that the recommended 4 week course did help to clear my acne up (moderate acne, particularly around chin and jawline). After using the blue light, I found that the red light was great for speeding up the healing process and making my skin feel far less hot and tender. I can strongly recommend this product as it made me feel I was finally getting somewhere with my skin! I found that my acne did not entirely disappear, although this could be because it was hormonal acne and therefore would keep on forming regardless of treatment. I did find that far less new spots formed and when they did, they healed far faster and did not get 'stuck' under my skin without forming properly. I will continue to use and look forward to even more impressive results in the future!
