The Cetaphil Gentle Exfoliating Salicylic Cleanser sweeps away daily build-up, while visibly refining skin for a polished canvas.
Formulated with a refined triple-acid blend of salicylic, mandelic and gluconolactone, the formula gently exfoliates to help reduce the appearance of texture and uneven tone. Unlike gritty scrubs, the gel-foam texture feels refreshing rather than stripping and is laced with niacinamide, panthenol and glycerin to hydrate and lock in moisture. Gentle enough for daily use and suitable for sensitive types, the cleanser leaves your complexion soft and glowing.
- Application: Lather cleanser with a small amount of water and use all over as a face wash and/or body wash to visibly improve skin texture and tone. Rinse thoroughly.
- Routine: For best results, follow with Cetaphil Salicylic Acid Moisturising Lotion.

Very good for sensitive skin
My face feels refreshed and cleansed after using this, definitely smoother and more plump. I used this morning and evening and noticed a difference after first few uses.

Gentle Daily Cleanser
I've been using the Cetaphil Exfoliating Cleanser for a little over 2 weeks. I've used it primarily on my arms as a body wash rather than a facial cleanser so I can't comment on its effectiveness as a fash wash. I have pretty severe Keratosis Pilaris to my upper arms and so wanted to see if this was something that would smooth out rough and bumpy areas. From the first couple of uses I did feel that it left my skin feeling softer, it does feel gentle on the skin, it doesn't dry the skin out and I like the pump bottle. It's a smooth consistancy unlike other exfoliators, and it lathers really nicely so it really feels like you are cleansing your skin. It has a neutral smell and isn't heavily fragranced or over powering. I do think its improved rough and bumpy areas to a certain extent, but can't say its been as effective as I was hoping for, but as I said my arms are quite bad, so I think for every day general use it would do the job of softening and smoothing skin quite well!

Loved it!
I’ve been using this for about a week or two and it’s been great for my acne-prone skin. It’s incredibly gentle and doesn’t dry me out. The mild exfoliation is perfect with no irritation. Moreover, I haven’t had any breakouts since I started using it. If you’re looking for a simple, effective, non-stripping cleanser, this is a solid choice. It's even effective on Strawberry Legs! The only downside is that it might be too mild if you’re expecting a stronger exfoliating effect.

Good product
My skin is quite sensitive and prone to blackheads, whiteheads, and enlarged pores. After a week of using the Cetaphil Salicylic Acid Cleanser, I found that my blackheads became noticeably easier to clear out.

Great daily cleanser
I used this product every morning for 2 weeks. After the first use my skin felt softer. The bottle is a great size and has an easy pump dispenser. The product has a neutral smell. Overall it was a great product which made my face feel smooth and softer after the first use. Would highly recommend.

Great gentle everyday cleanser
This Cetaphil cleanser was a great one to incorporate into my daily skincare routine to exfoliate the skin. It was very gentle on my face and didn't cause me irritation of any kind. My skin felt nicely cleansed after using it. The texture is perfect and I like the neutral scent. It's also really easy to dispense the right amount with the pump. After using this product for a while, I've noticed that my face is actually smoother and has a more even tone. Overall, I would definitely recommend this cleanser! Thanks to HTC for the opportunity to test it out.

Extremely gentle
Nice product. Extremely gentle, so much so I unfortunately haven’t noticed a difference in my skin. Definitely a good choice for sensitive skin but I just don’t think it’s a great match for me #HomeTesterClubUK

Good for oily skin
This is the most gentle cleanser I’ve ever used. It doesn’t lather and kinda smells like school glue to me. It helps to remove oil from skin and doesn’t dry out the skin. Good for oily skin and during summer.

Some small improvement
I liked this Cetaphil face wash, but I’m still not fully decided. I have PCOS and adult-onset acne (started at 26, I’m now 33), and recently realised I had a damaged skin barrier which worsens and complicates my acne. I’ve only used this face wash & a skin barrier repair moisturiser twice a day, and a gentle face SPF50 a couple of times during the recent heatwave. Some noticeable improvements: - Fewer deep & scarring, under-the-skin jawline spots - Nose less oily, with only 1–2 small comedones during the trial (previously had frequent new ones) - Fewer blackheads on cheeks and jawline It leaves my skin feeling gently exfoliated without harsh tools or peels, and I feel my skin barrier is continuing to heal. Despite my high hopes, I’ve still developed new pimples on my cheeks and chin which is disappointing. However, I will continue to use this face wash twice daily to give it a full chance to help my skin heal. #HomeTesterClubUK #FreeSample #FreeProductTrial

Really good for oily skin
The product is really good for oily skin, as it cleans the surface perfectly well and keeps it like that for a long while. However, for sensitive or dry skin, I would only recommend using it once a day, as the skin tends to be slightly tense after the wash. The product helped reduce the problem of clogging pores, even while hot summer days, where sebum production is hard or almost impossible to control. I could also see a dramatic reduction of blackheads development, while whiteheads are slowly disappearing day by day. I normally need to exfoliate my face once a week, but during the usage of this cleanser, I had no need to do that at all. What is also worth mentioning is that you only need a small amount of liquid per wash, it lathers up nicely, so the bottle will last a really long time.
