Great sulphate free shampoo
It is the second salon sized bottle that me and my hubby is on now, and that says a lot, since I normally switch shampoo a lot, often even after only half of a normal sized bottle of shampoo. Mostly because there is something I don't like about it. With this Is haven't been able to find a single fault... It lathers up well, just as any regular sulphate shampoo, with a creamy foam that really cleanses both hair and scalp well without stripping my dry ends of too much moisture. And even more amazingly, it does not make my roots feel heavy and over moisturised, that often is a problem for my oily scalp. It smells great, not too feminine or overpowering, so hubby loves it too, and he has very dry hair for reference, so this is really a very versatile version of the Purology range. My hair color, (I dye my hair regularly, especially the roots and the dye stays put too, I notice no fading due to cleaning whatsoever actually. Which is great!
This is marketed towards drier hair types. But I would say, even if it works well for my hubby's dry hair in combination with a bit heavier conditioner and/or hair mask, it might not feel enough if your hair is both dry and more on the coarse side. My hair is pretty fine for reference. And that may be why this range often get in my eyes unexpectedly low ratings in reviews over the Internet. Bottom line, I love this shampoo which deals perfectly with my dry ends and the lengths of my hair as well as my somewhat oily scalp!
