Redken replaced a much better product with this version and nobody can understand why. I had been using the Redken Cleansing Cream shampoo for years once or twice a week and it stopped a build-up in my hair that was affecting the colour. The Clean Maniac is a totally different product, it feels harsher, and I don't like the texture it leaves in my hair. It doesn't feel as if it's doing as good a job as the original version at all.

I have used Redken products for years but this shampoo is just dreadful. Feels like cheap washing up liquid. Doesn’t lather well, so runny so you use much more than needed. Doesn’t make my hair feel cleansed. Can’t wait to use it up .Would definitely not recommend this shampoo don’t waste your money.

I have been used it for six months and felt no different whatsoever with an ordinary daily shampoo.

I had to shampoo twice, the first time it wasn’t really lathering but this is due to there being no sulphates, so the second shampoo it felt like it was lathering more. When you wash it out the hair feel squeaky clean! There is no doubt this shampoo does what it says on the tin and thoroughly cleans, but... it felt like it dried my hair out quite a lot, perhaps because I double shampooed? Make sure you follow with a good conditioner.

Really good to use once or twice a week, it leaves your hair bouncy and residue free.

First use of this shampoo and I'm quite pleased with it.

I love anything to do with cleanliness as based on this products description I thought I would give it a go as a change from my usual Redken products. Both the shampoo and conditioner smell lovely but that is the only positive point about them. They left my hair looking and feeling truly awful - similar to when you have been swimming in the sea. Now I am stuck with a shampoo and conditioner combo that I can’t even use.

Wasn’t so sure of this at first but wow it really does clean you hair . Feels very strange at first but trust me the results are amazing my hair doesn’t feel heavy and greasy , soft manageable hair . I will use this one every 3 to 4 weeks along with my other red ken shampoo.
