The best
5I have been using Redken for thirty years and it remains to be my favourite brand. The Color Extend does what it claims to do. The colour remains bright and natural looking to the end. It also makes the hair feel amazing. Soft and with lots of movement.

Watery but
4That probably means it truly is mostly natural! Just be so careful when getting it out! Think it is certainly helping keep my colour in (I use a temporary dye once a week).

Do not buy this product!
2Please, do not waste your money on this product! I hope that anyone who wishes to buy this product reads the reviews before purchasing, as I wish I had. Only used a handful of times and I am definitely very unimpressed! The product leaves your hair looking as if it has not been cleaned! Honestly think it left my hair looking greasier than before I had washed it. Although it has made the blonde parts of my hair a lot lighter and fresher looking, I know that there are other products which will brighten my hair and actually clean it (which is what a shampoo should do) for a cheaper price. Very unimpressed!

Not great
2I have used Redken colour for many years, but this new formula is horrible!! Firstly its like water in the bottle, so it spills everywhere when trying to get some on your hand. Once applied it doesn't lather very well at all and find i have to add more shampoo or water to get a tiny bit of lather, then it leaves my hair really unclean and coated in something. I am having to wash my hair twice as much with this!

Expected better
3I found that this shampoo made my hair super frizzy and left parts of my hair still unwashed. The formula doesn't foam up so I found it tricky to clean my entire scalp with my usual amount of shampoo. I feel this shampoo would probably be best for people with fine hair, who wash their hair daily, with a normal to dry scalp.

Left a film on my hair
2Didn't work for me, l have fine blonde highlighted hair in fairly good condition this shampoo left a film on my hair which made it feel unwashed, flat & greasy. It did brighten my colour but will go back to my usual Redken colour extend shampoo which l love.
