A sun cream that doesn’t cause break outs!
4I was struggling to find a sun cream that didn’t block up my pores and cause spots. Since using this product my skin has cleared and I haven’t had any major break outs like before. It is hard to rub in and leaves a layer of white on my (already very pale) skin, but this eventually soaks in.

Only fault is the smell
4Great job at being a matte sunscreen. Good consistency and absorbs well. My only, and I mean ONLY issue is that it smells a bit odd. Maybe it’s just that it’s not perfumed, but it doesn’t smell nice. Although after application it’s odourless anyway

too thick and very white
3Positives first: this cream does protect your skin from the sun really well. It's also organic and comes in recycled packaging. However, it is really thick and sticky, so feels quite unpleasant to apply. It also makes your skin look really white and pale and doesn't sink in very well. I also don't like its lemony smell. It works but it's not pleasant to use.

Great for oily skin
5Love this, it keeps my oily skin really matte without clogging pores or causing breakouts. Has a slightly white appearance but I mix with a drop of foundation and it looks great. Stops my very pale skin burning.

Amazing for sensitive skin
5I have spent so much money trying to find an SPF that doesn’t break me out. My skin is so sensitive - even a small drop of anything will break me out. My sister recommended this Ren one as it’s all natural ingredients and I’m SO happy I tried it. It must be because its organic but it hasn’t broken me out at all! Finally, I can wear an SPF and protect my skin without having to worry about new spots arriving. To anyone worried about the “white cast” people are talking about, you just need to rub it in a bit more - the white cast fades super fast when it sinks into your skin!

Good but not great
4I bought this sunscreen after seeing it being recommended by loads of Youtube skincare vloggers. I have very oily skin and this helps to matify it all day, but it has such a strong white cast! I have very fair skin so if you have darker skin i would say that this is a big no-no. However, it did not break me out and it really does protect my skin from sun damage. So overall, I think this is a good sunscreen but be aware of the white cast!!

Does exactly what it says it will
5I purchased this as I wanted something for my face to use everyday. I have combination skin so the fact it is mattifying appealed to me! I don’t need much for my whole face, I haven’t burnt using it and my skin hasn’t broken out or had any sensitivity issues. It blends in well and although my face is slightly paler, it’s not a white mask as some can be and if anything it makes my skin look healthier.

Not impressed
1I have really oily and acne prone skin so thought this would be good. It no doubt did calm my acne and I never caught the sun with it. However it has the worst white cast I have ever seen in a sun cream. My face almost looked blue. I am white myself and it looked awful so 100% would not recommend for people of colour.

GOOD
4Yes this sunscreen has a white cast but its very slight compared to other sun-screens. I have acne skin and I really appreciate the ingredients in this! I don't think there is a better sunscreen tbh

3Unfortunately this cream is visible on the skin, makes it whitish. But in general nice cream, fast absorbing.
