Not suitable for fine hair with greasy roots
I bought this product with high hopes, considering the price, one would expect an efficient shampoo for greasy hair. I used it 3 times now - at first, the shampoo smells lovely, lathers well, so I was expecting something better. My usual shampoo (natural) only gives me 2 days of clean hair before I need to wash them again. With this shampoo, the day after I washed my hair, I already needed to wash them again, because my roots were so oily (even at the end of the first day, I could notice my hair being flat and oily at roots) ! A very disappointing Shu Uemera product, I would not recommend unfortunately for my type of hair.

Shu Uemura Oil Astringent Cleanser
I used some castor oil in my hair to moisture it and I had read a lot about it helping your hair grow faster. Big mistake! Couldn’t wash it out for two weeks. My roots were constantly greasy it was like I hadn’t washed my hair. Bought this product and after the first wash it took all the excess grease away 😅 Would definitely recommend it to anyone with greasy roots!

Amazing!
I bought this shampoo for my mum, she would wash her hair every day as normal shampoos made her hair flat or greasy (She has fine hair) she says this Shu Eumura Is amazing & she now washes her hair every 3 days. She loves the smell of it & the bottle is a really good size which comes with a pump top.

This Shu Uemura Anti-Oil Astringent Cleanser smells lovely and isn't drying to the hair but if your looking for something to help balance oily hair I would suggest you keep looking, I've been using it awhile now but I still cant make it to 2nd day-such a shame it smells so nice!
