Fabulous product!!!
4Shu Uemura is luxury for hair! This product leaves your hair feeling super smooth and hydrated with a polished sleek look. But what I love is knowing it is protecting my hair against all the heat of drying and straightening. Great mixed with the Shu Absolute oil aswell :)

Sadly a fail!
1This product is currently out of stock...I do wish it had been out of stock when I was ordering! I looked at the reviews and most of them were really good and so I went ahead with my purchase. I guess I’m in the minority of those this didn’t work for and it failed massively. Left me with crispy fir Frizzy curls. My hair is dyed blond and I’m always on the lookout for the ultimate leave and let air dry products that give my hair a natural curl and a bit of a shine. Last month I purchased fudge luminare shampoo & conditioner and also a moroccan oil set of the oil and a leave in spray, these gave my hair a beautiful shine and the perfect curl. I was able to leave it to dry overnight and finished off with a touch of oil, perfect shiny curls that held for days without any touch ups at all, as long as I put it in a pineapple at nights and just fingered it in the mornings. While staying at mums for a few weeks I’d forgotten to pack the fudge and Moroccan oil, so I purchased this and it’s a total waste of money! I’ve used it 3 times in different ways and can’t get it to work for me at all! Such a pity as I do like most of shu products but for my hair the mix of fudge and Moroccan oil is a much better fit. This has been one of my top 5 biggest hair product fails I’ve ever had! So I would recommend nor would I repurchase!

5This is a repurchase and even on a longer hair now (shoulder length) it's still a treat. Wet or dry - works for me. Mine's wavy so I work it into the hair - 5-10 mins and it's a soft wave without any hair-dryer. I honestly don't know another product that does it and leaves no visible or tangible residue. It's rare so buying more. Thanks LF your price is unbeatable. )

Big NO
1It breaks my heart rating Shu Uemura low, but this is one of the worst performing products ever on MY hair. My hair is fine, short and wavy. My hair becomes spiky and frizzy, making me look like an anaemic hedgehog after applying this.

One of the best
4This has to be one of the best hairstyling product I have ever used (and I have tried a lot!). It doesnt way your hair down, hair dries fairly easy and the smell isnt overwhelming.

Finally
5I found the right product for my wavy hair which I don't like to restrict too much. If I don't use the blow-drier my hair simply goes all over the place which I don't mind but fizz isn't waves. And it's been a struggle to find the product that would activate the natural waviness without being either too sticky, or too heavy, or indeed requiring yet again a hair-direr. There is this though. I had the paste from the same range and it was good for thicker texture (my hair is short) but too rigid for curls. I loooooooove what this product does to my hair and I don't have to torture it (hair) either . Literally - out the shower, dab of this and run the fingers through the wet hair and let it dry naturally. That's what I did. And I walked away from the mirror - busy. When I looked at it again it was amazing. Softest short, relaxed waves AND volume and shape and it stays - doesn't drop, yet moves with you. I know I sound excited and obsessed. It's because when you're busy - but don't want to look it - ANYTHING that saves you time and makes you look great is a godsend. And I found one. I love this company. Their make up is the best too. Used it for decades, beats all your French houses. Hands down. But I digress. Thank you LF. I can buy Shu form you now without paying extortionate shipping costs levied from Asia. Shu is expensive as it is ))

Could be better
3After reading all the great reviews I had so much hope for this product but I am slightly disappointed! Is an OK / good product but not amazing for my curly ,frizzy, slight dry, colored hair. The product is to heavy for a "milk" as the name suggests and to light for anything else . Also impossible to read instructions on the bottle due to light gold colored writing on a creamy color bottle (??!!), great smell though . On the positive note , very happy with LF site , from ordering to prompt delivery all the way to New Zealand.

Fine/wavy/curly hair
5Excellent product! It smells good and works great. You have smooth, shiny and silky hair. I've been using Satin Design by Shu Uemura for years. I love it! Can highly recommend.

Star product!
5I haven't previously been a big fan of this particular brand. But I may have used products that are too heavy for my undyed fine hair that I have a lot. My hair tends to go frizzy and have flyways, but smoothing products may sometimes be too much and make it greasy. When I got this I was absolutely pleasantly surprised. It makes my hair shiny and manageable without losing the volume. Can highly recommend.
