SkinCeuticals Retinol 0.3% Cream 30ml

Brilliant night cream. You only need to use the smallest amounts but really has helped the uneven skin tone and I haven’t had a break out in the month I’ve been using it. Was recommended this brand by a dermatologist and will definitely continue to buy and use this product. 

So far so good, No irritation! Started off using 3 x per week on top of my moisturiser, now using for same amount of times but under moisturiser. My first experience with a retinol and it’s been amazing. Skin glowing!

I’ve never used a retinol before and this was my first retinol I tried and I have to say I love it. I have sensitive/ blemish prone skin and have always been scared to try a retinol as I was never sure what would suit me but skinceuticals helped me with there instant chat and recommended this and I have to stay it’s been amazing with my skin and I would definitely recommend it to people with sensitive skin. 

I have large pores, scarring, awful texture and some hormonal breakouts still and love this product. My skin is fussy with products and can be sensitive but this came recommended by a friend and I was doubtful however after the first use I saw a difference! I use it twice a week now and have never had any irritation, redness or sensitivity. Even waiting to moisturise doesn't leave my skin feeling dry or tight. My scarring and pores are already reduced and underlying redness is so much calmer and everything looks less inflamed. You only need a pea size to do your whole face too so I'd say it's worth every penny 

This retinol is just gorgeous! Yes I did break out a little, and yes my face got sensitive and peeled a little. However my giant pores are so much smaller and cleaner my skin is brighter and tighter and this is only a couple weeks! Can’t wait to see where this takes me

Only need a pea size amount, the perfect combo of gentle and effective. I love it to use twice a week! My skins never looked smoother. 

I know the Skinceuticals brand for over 4-5 years now and they do have great products, I rather save up from time to time and buy some of their products. If is something I recommend is this retinol that is great for beginners, for a first time user of retinol, as in a higher concentration can irritate the skin big time. I am using it as recommend it on the box, and YES expect exfoliation 2-3 days later, and YES expect to break out in case you have acne prone skin, this is the purpose of it at the beginning!! Any retinol you get, expect all of this; in the morning use SPF, gentle creams and nothing to strip your skin even more! Never apply an exfoliating toner before the use of retinol, you increase the irritation of the skin.  On the nights when I apply retinol I cleanse my skin, I let it dry for 5 mins and then apply only the retinol and nothing else, to make the most of it. Retinol is one of those ingredients that you should be careful in using, not everyone can tolerate it.

I don’t really leave reviews but rely heavily on them when splashing out on dearer products and thought it’s only fair to say what amazing product this is! I have acne/oily prone skin and although my acne is under control I have pigmentation, scarring and stubborn blocked pores which even monthly deep facials can’t shift. I’ve only been using this for a week and the results have been amazing; skin texture, scarring and pores have improved hugely. The stubborn bumps have also dramatically improved. I haven’t experienced any irritation - some very mild peeling but that’s when I haven’t moisturised enough or drank enough water. I also have the glycolic overnight cream which is also really good but have seen better results with this. It’s pricey but got it on a promo and in my opinion has been well worth the money.

This is the best retinol cream I have ever had . Only 3 times a week because it’s strong ... Keeps my skin looking young and beautiful.  Very happy....

This review has been left after around 5 weeks of using this product. I was on the search as everyone else for a retinol that worked. Previous to this I had used Rodial and Inkey list. For anyone starting off, Inkey list is acceptable, but for me , after a while it just became mediocre. Previously, I have bought the Skinceuticals CE Ferulic which is now be a permeant part of my skincare. So, back to this review. As a brown skinned woman, I was resistant to buying Vitamin C or Retinol as our skin is much more pigmented. Everyone said to me "your skin will purge" and it did with Inkey list. With this retinol, it absolutely did not. My skin looks brighter, clearer and my pores have reduced massively. Each time I get a tiny spot I put this on overnight it vanishes. I now use it every other night. All the products are worth the price because they work and I did my research before buying. Everyone has noticed the improvement in my skin and I feel after 6 years (currently 29) I am comfortable not wearing makeup. I'm not trying to hide spots that have just erupted or trying to colour correct dark patches. It is really that great. I would absolutely recommend it. Hope this helps!
