Not my favourite
I wouldn’t say the result was ‘extra dark’ on me. I’m pale with cool undertones and the application colour of this product is very green. Applying wasn’t the easiest as it seemed to take a lot of blending to make sure there were no streaks or patches. The smell isn’t the nicest. It didn’t dry on my chest so I stayed sticky all night. I left the product on overnight for the full 8 hours. When I woke up I looked a lovely tanned colour (still not very dark), but when I showered it off I was left just slightly yellow. I did all the correct prep but this one was a disappointment for me. Only pro is that it fades evenly (because there was barely any colour there to come off). I’m still looking for my perfect fake tan product - on to Bondi Sands next!

Faulty Pump
So just read a review about the pump of this product. I’ve purchased this twice from look fantastic and both times the pump has come out faulty. The tan doesn’t come out in a foam like way, the way it should come out. Then usually after trying for a while the pump stops working. At first I put it down to having a faulty pump but after buying this 2 more time’s, the same has happened each time. It doesn’t matter if I switch pumps with one I got from Superdrug, that eventually doesn’t help anything. Please can look fantastic provide an explanation as to why this specific tans pump is faulty. I had to finish using mine by removing the pump altogether and pouring the liquid into my glove.

Great product
I normally use the dark mousse but tried this one as extra dark and it’s a similar colour to the other one but seems to last longer. No streaks if applied with the mit and a lovely colour with no orange -just a nice bronze look.

St Tropez Extra Dark Mousse...
I’ve used a LOT of tan, and I like the darkest of the dark. This one did give me a lot of what I liked, and it lasted about a week before it started cracking up etc. The only big con I can give to it is the pump. I don’t know whether I got a broken pump or it is just the pump, but the tan comes out like black tar when I use the pump. Like a thick, bubbly mess, like no tan I’ve ever seen before. I had to switch pumps with another tan, and it worked for a few pumps, but it really didn’t help at all.
