Enriched with 30% of Vitamin C in its purest form (L-Ascorbic Acid), the serum helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and discolouration overnight when skin is most receptive. The addition of very light silicones allow the serum to effortlessly glide across skin for a silky-smooth finish.

Please Note: The format of this formula is a suspension of very fine L-Ascorbic Acid powder and, as such, provides the most direct exposure of extremely high concentrations of Vitamin C topically. With such format, a very strong tingling but non-irritating sensation is expected during the first 1-2 weeks of use until the skin's tolerance to such high exposure is elevated. If the sensation is too strong to tolerate, the formula can be mixed on each application with other creams or serums of your preference.
Apply a small amount to face in the AM or the PM (PM preferred). A tingling sensation can be expected after application. If this sensation is too strong, this formula can be diluted on each application with your favourite serum or cream.

Would prefer a serum
This product is okay- I dont think I'd repurchase. It's quite spikey on the skin, it does feel exfoliating but I'm not a fan of the texture. Vitamin C products ive used in the past can sometimes turn your hands a bit orange but this is extreme and almost instant.
Fantastic cream
Can already see the difference after using for approximately 2 weeks. Makes the face feel a lot smoother and pores reduced.
Great for balancing your completion!
I bought this thinking it was a primer after reading one review but when I got it i realised it works for blemishes and fine lines too. This was perfect as i'd bought The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% for blemishes in the same order. I have indented acne scarring and red blemishes on my cheeks and around my nose, since using this product i've found my skin looks much less aggressive, especially in the mornings. My overall complexion looks much more balanced and less red / blotchy. As it says on the box it's best to apply in the PM before moisturisers but can be used in the mornings too. Some people in the reviews used it as a primer and while it does work as a primer as it makes your skin look very smooth, you have to really let it set otherwise your makeup looks very patchy and doesn't sit well. It does tingle quite a bit when you apply - very similar to how The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution does. It has a thick paste style consistency and if you over rub it, it comes off like dried glue, so be patient with it. I will definitely be buying this again
Box basically destroyed on delivery
I love this product. Does wonders for my skin. However on delivery the box is completely crushed!

Love it! Use as last step in AM skincare before makeup, silicone base then acts as a good primer 👍 Make sure any liquid/cream put on your skin before this is completely dry before applying.
Amazing
Slight tingle on your skin when applied, my skins feels and looks amazing and radiant, I only use at night as quite thick but using this along with my other The Ordinary products and my skin is youthful and radiant, a must buy!

It's the 3 times that I buy this product .... it's just perfect the texture of vitamin c it's cream I apply every day and just go out! my skin is softer full of energy and brighter .. also I notice that the product bright the spots of the acne in my face
Strong
I think I went in a bit too quick with this one its quite strong in terms of vitamin c strength, I did feel the tingly sensation which was bareable and made me feel like it was working however dried my face out by the next day. If your new to vitamin c I would start with a lower strength serum first and then build your tolerance up to this which is what I will be doing.
Great cost benefit
At first I felt my skin getting a little irritated but soon that felling passed. I believe it was because I was not used to such a high concentration of vitamin C. The skin looks incredible glow and non greasy with this. During time you notice that your skin looks more even but I couldn’t notice any difference on fine lines. I recommend it for the great cost benefit.
