Lovely finish but it oxidised
3Lovely finish however it oxidised quiet badly on my skin and the smell is so overpowering it wasn’t a pleasant experience to wear as the smell lasted for hours

Definitely purchasing again!
5I ordered the foundation in the lightest shade available - Snow. Sadly it is still a tad bit dark for me, but oh boy does it do wonders for my skin. My face tends to get really oily during the day and this is certainly the best foundation that has kept it under control. I still have to blot my face a few times a day, but the foundation sits beautifully without breaking apart around my chin or nose area which has usually been an issue with other foundations that I have tried. Too Faced Matte Foundation will definitely be a keeper in my cosmetic bag despite it being a shade or two too dark for me. It is nothing that foundation lightening drops cannot fix!

Best matte foundation for mature skin
5My go to foundations have always been double wear or bare minerals barepro until i found this gem. I can get great coverage using a beauty blender then like all my foundations because i have oily skin i set it with a powder foundation like laura mercier smooth finish or bare minerals barepro powder. Full coverage and does not settle in to fine lines or wrinkles. Even with oily skin i cam use a glow primer underneath and get glow without getting greasy or it wearing off quickly like glow foundations. The charlotte tilbury flawless filter works great and i always get compliments on my skin and my foundation stays put all day until i wash it off, even with wearing a mask to work. And the added bonus is that it photographs really well unlike DW or barepro. Colours can be tricky but i find nude works well with my fair/medium skin tones.

Great foundation!
4I have seriously greasy skin so was unsure this foundation would work for me but was pleasantly surprised. Whilst coverage is more medium, it is light on the skin and smells great!

Awful
1Sorry but this is awful! I bought this based on the excellent reviews...I wish I hadn't wasted my money. This is sticky and so tacky on my skin, it feels like I'm putting emulsion on my face! It also doesn't look great, the coverage is quite patchy (I don't have dry skin, my skin is hideously oily even at the age of 39). I'm so disappointed in this. Such a waste.

New Holy Grail
5Oh my god. This foundation absolutely floored me. I have tried so many matte foundations for my oily skin, I wore this once and it was enough to make it my new holy grail. It's so lightweight on the skin and as the name says comfortable ! I literally forgot I was wearing it. It glides on and blends like a dream, wasn't cakey looking at all in fact looks like your skin but better. I am so happy I finally tried it. I am PRAYING they will not discontinue this. Amazing.

It really is perfect!
4I got this foundation to replace my non-cruelty free makeup & I’m really pleased with the shade & the consistency of it! I have dry skin and this glides on as a thin layer which I prefer as I’m not a fan of thick makeup on my face! It’s slightly oily so dropped a star as that makes it more likely to rub off.

Amazing foundation
5I absolutely love this foundation. It's matte but not flat, it spreads beautifully, lasts as advertised and creates a nice healthy look. The size is generous, pump helpful not to overdo the amount. Overall, a fantastic product.

One of the best on the market
5I will be really sad if the discontinue this, as too faced announced. It’s one of the best foundations out there, especially if you want a medium cover that lasts great all day. Sits nice on the skin, doesn’t come off on the mask, doesn’t get oily or patchy during the day. It’s easy to blend on the face and doesn’t cling to dry patches. One of my most purchased foundations.

Holy Grail
5I was a die hard fan of the original ELDW for over a decade. Kept coming back to it time and again after countless failed attempts at replacing it with mostly high end alternatives, such as the old UD Naked, Dior Forever, Becca Stay Matte, MUFE UHD, etc, etc. Nothing came close to the staying power and coverage of my treasured Double Wear. I nevertheless always felt it was so dry it created lines on my otherwise wrinkle free skin, and the shades felt always off, plus the flashback on photos. I am very pleased to share that I came across this fantastic Too Faced Peach Perfect foundation, or rather I was guided to it by angels who wanted me to find my holy grail. I have areas of enlarged pores, some redness and acne scars, and this evens everything out with a natural look. It stays on all day in a true to its name comfortable matte finish. Shade for me is a tiny hair off, but I am totally ok with it, as I colour correct with finishing powder and bronzer. On top of this, it is a slightly larger container than most foundations and the tub comes with a pump. Super hygienic and almost zero product wastage. Will recommend and continue to wear and repurchase for as long as they sell it without reformulations.
