I absolutely love the bareMinerals New Get Started? Complexion Kit - Light (9 Products). They're the best products I have ever used and the brushes are beautifully soft. I would recommend this kit for people who suffer with similar skin problems to me (I suffer with spots and dark circles, as well as oily skin in general). It feels fresh and light on the face.

Bare mineral in Light

I decided to try this kit after having heard very positive reviews on the Internet about this brand. I've to say this is absolutely this is the only foundation I can put on my sensitive skin. With this mineral powder you won't feel the sense of heavy coverage given by normal liquid foundations, even of famous brands. I like this foundation because you can decide how much you want to cover, and even if I have oily skin on the T zone, the original foundation of BM (not the "Matte" version) I think is the most suitable to me. Matte would dry too much the skin outside the T zone. The tanning powdre is also very very good: not shiny, therefore giving a very natural look. I'm very happy with this purchase even if I don't like the concealer brush: hair of the bruch cannot "capture" the powder, so better to use another brush for this purpose. Other brushes are good with natural hair, but if you already have good quality kabuki brushes, I think you don't need to buy the complete kit.

I've never been a fan of make up I like the natural look, a friend told me to try bare minerals it was really worth it, it's not harsh really natural you can build the colour up to what you suit best, the tutorial is really easy and helpful, the make up is actually good for your skin and look fantastic always have the cheapest prices so it was an easy decision to buy this kit and now I'm hooked.

I thought this seemed a little pricey at first, but actually the brushes supplied are excellent quality and the pots of powder are bigger than I expected. Also having watched the DVD which advises not to use too much I can see that the powders will last a long time, so I think this pack will actually be really good value for money. In short, if you're considering trying bare minerals, this is a really good place to start. Finally, I have quite oily and sensitive skin and this product seems to be working better for me than what I previously used.

Excellent kit

I bought this bareMinerals New Get Started Complexion Kit as a trial of new foundations. Originally I did not believe that a mineral power might transform into an absolutely natural foundation, which melts smoothly all over the face. I also received nice comments from colleagues at work regarding my perfect skin. There is also a bronzer and finish power as part of the kit. The bronzer is great for face shaping and shading and the powder for an invisible finish. Together with Guerlain Lingerie de Peau it's my favourite foundation. I will buy it again!

The Mineral Veil and foundations are what Bare Minerals are best known for and both come in this kit. They've won awards for a reason! So... whats all the fuss about? I've tried many foundations and powders in my time from a range of brands and price ranges and Bare Minerals is up there with the best. It has no nasty chemicals in it or binders and things that could potentially irritate your skin. It doesn't feel thick like some liquid foundations can do. This lets your natural beauty shine though with a nice airbrushed dewy finish but it also allows your skin to breather as it's not clogging pores or anything, which is important. It gives you good, healthy looking skin rather than covering it up like a mask! It feels weightless but it's there and stays put for ages. A little really does go a long way and it lasts all day when used with the mineral veil. I rave about Bare Minerals to anyone who will listen.

I am not happy with the bareMinerals New Get Started Complexion Kit. First of all, it couldn't actually cover anything on my face. If anything, those dark circles became even darker. It also couldn't cover capillaries near my nose and on my cheeks and then the color. I used fairly light N10 foundation. I applied it exactly the way the video suggests. This N10 colour is supposed to be the lightest, but it made my skin a lot darker and a bit more yellow. Mineral veil on the other hand has more or less the appropriate color to match my skin tone.

I bought myself the bareMinerals New Get Started? Complexion Kit - Light (9 Products), after having a brilliant bareMinerals makeover whilst on holiday. I was really impressed with the products. I bought this one for my daughter's birthday, and she is so pleased with the results that she achieves with this kit that she has become a convert to bareMinerals! It is really worth it!

Absolutely amazing product. Covers acne scars and also reduces the blemishes after constant use. Was worried whether this product would work or not... But had definelty done the job for me! Its also very light to the skin! Strongly recommended!

Great value, great product!

I'd been eyeing up the BareMineral products for quite some time after seeing application videos, before/after pictures and reading lots of positive reviews; but never committed due to the price of the products... until now! The price is of the Get Started kit is incredible for 3 official BareMineral brushes (which are of fantastic quality) - the foundations, 'warmth' and mineral veil are an amazing bonus! Since the kit arrived about a week ago, I have already gone on to buy 3 other BareMineral products for myself, and convinced my mother (who is 50) to buy the Get Started kit in medium - I let her try my kit in light and she was amazed at how well it worked on her mature skin. Admittedly, the foundation didn't take too well to her very wrinkled and saggy skin around her eyes (sorry Mum!). It seemed to sit on top of the skin, struggling to blend in and instead highlighted the creases but in all fairness, she is yet to find any make-up to work well in this area, so it's not BareMinerals' fault! The kit comes with 2 foundations (fairly light and light) - great if you're not entirely sure which shade you are! I actually couldn't work out which was the lighter/darker of the 2 until they were on my face (for future reference - fairly light is the lighter of the 2) and have since bought an individual pot of 'fair' (which is lighter than both foundations in this kit) as I am extremely pale! A great thing about getting the two different shades is that you can mix the 2 together if you're an 'in between' shade, and it also enables the kit to be used all year round - paler shade in winter and darker shade when you're more tanned in summer! I enjoy the overall appearance after using this complexion set - my boyfriend said I looked completely different (I'm quite spotty at times)! Though I have to note that the effects can't have last long as my Mum commented later in the day that it hadn't covered my spots around the chin area very well. To overcome this obstacle I have since purchased additional BareMinerals concealers and have taken to carrying the Get Started kit about with me - the pots aren't too bulky so they don't take up much handbag space! All in all, I'd probably give this product 9/10 (the missing point is for the staying-power) Even if you're unsure about it but have been considering it - it's worth it just for the brushes (They cost much more elsewhere and individually!)

Perfect little set

I treated myself to this set as I had my eye on it for a while & thought why not! Glad I did as I am very happy with it. The products are really nice - the perfect sizes to try. The quality of the brushes is fab & the minerals go on perfectly. I especially like the primer & the finishing mineral veil, so will be buying those after i've used them all up.The only niggle would be that the warmth it's too dark for a fair complexion. Even with the lightest amount used, it's still too dark & I am not that fair as I tan easily! Instead I will save it for the summer & use as a bronzer when on hols. Def a great buy!

This bareMinerals New Get Started Complexion Kit is great way to get going with bareMinerals. It has all you need for a good base and the brushes are really good. I was a bit nervous about which base colour to buy but followed the guide and the colour is perfect. I think the DVD is worth watching because it reinforces how little powder you need to use. Also I have dry skin so thought the powder may 'sit' on top of my skin, but instead it gives a good finish and lasts ages. I'm really happy with the product. I would definitely recommend a starter kit as it's good value for money

I got this product to try as I have very sensitive skin and suffer with eczema break outs on my face. When the product arrived I was a little worried about using it but soon changed my mind. The product went on easily and totally covered my break outs. The foundation isn't cakey it looks and feels really natural and I love it!!! I have already thrown away every other type of make up i have and replaced it all with bare minerals. The product has also had a great effect in my skin, without make up it feels softer and smoother.

I tried the Bareminerals new get started kit and I am not as wowed by it as I thought I would be. You rarely see a product so hyped up I figured it would be a winner. Sadly not. The finish is very shiny, not luminous, more of of a polished appearance. It also felt very heavy and stiff even though I applied it sheer. The good thing was that it is very long lasting and does not "melt off" where my skin is a little bit oily. Also, the minerals DO have a beneficial effect on your skin! Tone is more even and you don't get ANY breakouts. Oh, and the brushes are fab!
