super quick and great coverage

After reading all the reviews, I decided to visit my nearest bareMinerals store and get my face colour tested for this new foundation. It turns out that I can wear the same shade of bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation as I do for the bareMinerals original foundation. This READY foundation tends to be on the lighter side compared to the original foundation. Having said that I must now confess that I am completely converted and addicted to this new foundation. It does what it promises to do and I find it so easy to apply. No more long winded blending and brushing. Just a few quick, smooth long brushes and using much less foundation than I used to with the original foundation, READY gets me ready to go out quickly in the morning which is so important to me. It does not cause me to break out either, even though I have problematic acne-prone skin. Have a go! I did and have no regrets.

Love It!

This foundation is fantastic! It covers so well and so quickly. I would recommend using the new brush that Bare Minerals have made to go with it as it provides the best coverage. I have used all their foundations over the last 3 years and find this one the best for the coverage. It also makes my skin better when I wear it.

Great product, I'm so pleased!

I have previously used bare minerals loose powder and although thought it was good, I only used it on special occasions as I tended to use more than I needed, plus it was complicated to carry around in my handbag, I was always concerned that the powder would come out. This bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is superb, fits easily into your makeup bag for re-touches and is so much easier to put on. I'm thinking about getting a darker colour for summer, I really do recommend this product.

Very professional

This bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is a nice product; it gives a professional finish and a perfect complexion. I 'll buy another one a little darker for the summer, colour R310 for me is good in winter!

it's OK

It's my first BareMinerals products, and in general I like it, but for some reason the colour does not look even around my nose. I've never had that with other powder foundations, so it is a bit odd.

Great foundation

Gives same coverage as the loose powder but more convenient and less messy. Great for on the go. I think I will still use the loose powder when I have the time but will use this on the go. Feels nice and creamy.

ready to go

Bought this in colour 170 fairly light which is fab for the dull weather months we have. re ordered in 250 medium beige to get ready for summer. I have read reviews were people say the new ready foundation doesn't match up colour wise with original or matt. I compared the colours side by side at home in natural light, and found they are in between original and matt. So I would go for the colour you normally get. So easy to apply. Feels great.

Compared to the loose minerals this seems quite chalky. The loose minerals look a lot better on the skin.

Not as good as GloMinerals

Thought I'd give this a go having used GloMinerals for 2 years - reason being it was cheaper and seemed to do the same thing (so it said on the description). I wish I stuck with GloMinerals, BareMinerals Ready just sits on your face and looks like... well... powder! I wish I could send it back and get my money back! Looks like I'm back paying more euros for GloMinerals -but it's worth it as it has great coverage!

bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is a good product. It's very smooth, however no application item was with the product.

Great foundation

Have been using bareMinerals foundation for a couple of years and like it very much. The only downside being that it is a bit messy and awkward to carry when travelling. This bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation addresses that issue perfectly. I use the cool toned fair in the other range and went for R110 in this range, which is a good match. It is very helpful to be able to use the colour checker to suggest which shade to go for. I would recommend this product.

ok product

Good coverage if you need light to medium coverage but I found myself still needing to use quite a lot of concealer with this, much more so than with the other BM loose powders. Convenient conpact for out and about. But I also found, as I sweat a lot that this creased and went blotchy and uneven more quickly than other BM powder foundations. Unlikely to buy again unless my skin really improves which is unlikely after 25 years!

Nice!

I like this foundation better then the loose powder one. Ready foundation feels nicer on my skin. It doesn't even feel like I have it on. Yet to see how it handles my oily skintype though.

This bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is a fantastic foundation and so quick and easy to apply when you're in a rush. You don't need to apply much (I used too much initially and it looked a bit cakey) but once I got the hang of it it has become my favourite foundation. I have used the loose version of bareMinerals but to be honest I prefer this both for the convenience of it and the finish you get from it. I am medium beige in the 'old' version but ordered the R310 in the compact and it suits me fine. My skin is quite dry and I was worried this might be drying but I haven't found that to be the case. I took advantage of the great discount and have ordered another one which I will keep with me if I need to touch up during the day, although it lasts really well so probably won't need to use it for that. I would highly recommend this product.

Best ever

This foundation is so easy to use, as well as being silky soft on the skin. It hides all your flaws, even redness and uneven skintone it really is the best on the market. Also it is a mineral foundation and helps with minimising open pores and treats your skin.

Amazing compact

This compact foundation works wonderful with my sensitive, nordic skin. It gives great coverage without being too heavy for daytime-use, my skin does not feel dry or uncomfortable when wearing it and the best part is that I do not get breakouts or rashes! I'm using the color "fairly light", which matches perfectly with my light skincolour.

bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation

I found bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation to be excellent. It has an extremely fine texture, is a lovely colour, and gave my skin a lovely, refined, silky finish. I do not like to look 'made up' - this product was excellent as it gave a natural finish, which covered blemishes without a heavy look.

A really good product. Love the coverage and the finish. Just a little bit drying even with the use of the primer. Overall I am pleased with my purchase!

Cover up!

Great coverage which stays on all day and also more compact which is easier to carry around in your handbag. It took a little bit of practise to apply, as I was use to the loose powder but once I had watched the tutorial on the bare minerals website I was ready to go.

Ready foundation

Excellent, Usually use matte fairly light loose powder, went for 170 in new foundation, colour match great. Easy to apply, skins feel soft and hydrated all through the day. Improved SPF20

A Great Idea

Although I like Bare Minerals loose powder, I find it gives my face too much of a greasy glow after a few hours even though my skin is quite dry. I dont mind this but I do have to powder throughout the day. My mineral foundation of choice has always been Laura Mercier but I loved the idea of mineral foundation in a compact so decided to give this a go. I'm so glad I did! It goes on like a dream, with much less need of endless buffing, in fact it needs more of a stroking action in its application. It hardly takes any time at all to get a lovely smooth medium coverage which I find looks great and best of all NO MESS! I find the coverage to be quite a lot more Matt than the loose powder but not in a bad way, it doesn't look flat, maybe more satin looking. Personally I don't feel the need to powder throughout the day which is a bonus. One time when I was going out straight from work I buffed in another layer onto my skin and it worked well without looking too cakey. All in all I'm really impressed with this and will purchase a darker shade once summer has arrived and my skin tone darkens a bit. One word of warning, the colours are not the same as the loose foundation, they come up a shade or two lighter. Please be aware of this when buying online. My shade in loose minerals is Light mixed with Medium Beige but I bought Medium Beige in Ready Foundation and find it works well with my pale winter skin but definitely a lot lighter than Medium Beige loose minerals when viewing side by side. Give it a go if you like mineral foundation you'll love this!

Fabulous!

I've used the powder bareMinerals for a few years now, and didn't think it could be improved, but bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is absolutely brilliant! I love the smooth and long lasting finish it gives.

ready foundation

Wow, this in some ways is better than the original loose powder version. Not as much powder floating in the air. As no tip swirl and tap motion, just tap and brush on. Goes on just as easy as original and covers well, can be built up to desired coverage. Your skin feels like velvet all day, and even feels smooth after taking off. No dryness. Even better spf, now spf20.

bareminerals READY SPF20 Foundation

I usually use bareminerals loose powder foundation in medium beige. The ready foundation in the same shade is, for me, the exact colour match. This is more convenient for travel and the odd touch up and I like the fact it has SPF20 so will find that really useful in Summer. Excellent quality - you still need a foundation brush though - but for me the loose minerals powder gives the ultimate finish.

My new favourite foundation!

I thought I loved my current foundation but after try the new bareMinerals READY SPF20 Foundation is am completely converted! It provides amazing coverage that lasts all day even without a primer. A must-have foundation.

Amazing Stuff!

I usually wear bareMinerals original foundation in medium beige, so went for medium beige in the new ready foundation and have not been disappointed! This foundation goes on really well and feels like a cream! Perfect coverage and lasts all day, I'm now torn between which bareMinerals foundation I should use!

I didn't think bareminerals could outdo their original foundation but it seems they just have. This is perfect for my skin and gives great coverage. It's in a handy compact so fits really well I'm my handbag. Just love it!
