Discover effective cleansing without drying your skin with The Ordinary's Squalane Cleanser. This gentle formula works to break down, dissolve and remove makeup to leave your skin feeling fresh and clean.
The hydrating cleanser is enriched with squalane and lipophilic esters to moisturise the skin, while minimising feelings of tightness and dryness. Transforming from a nourishing balm to a clear oil-like consistency when in contact with water, the soap-free cleanser effectively lifts away impurities from the skin for soft and supple results.
Suitable for all skin types.
Non-comedogenic.
- Application: Dispense product into hands. Rub together to warm the product, allowing it to melt into an oil. Massage well onto dry face and rinse with warm water.

I had bought this as I was after an oil free cleanser and had heard good things. It didn’t disappoint. Skin felt clean, soft and hydrated. No tight skin feeling afterwards. I don’t wear a lot of make up so can’t comment on how good it is at removing a full face though but for what I need it is perfect!

My favourite cleanser
This cleanser is so lovely! It goes on in to an almost oily formula and is so gentle on the skin. It removes waterproof mascara easily too.

Amazing! BUT..
Such a gorgeous consistency and takes makeup off so easily. Feels amazing on the skin, skin feels nourished and soft aftwards. However, this did give me closed comedones all over my forehead. It has also made me break out all over my cheeks and chin. It could just be that this product didn’t agree with me, or that i didn’t wash it off correctly (but i did always do a second cleanse afterwards) Think this is great for a makeup remover, but maybe not an every day cleanser as it potentially could cause issues to acne prone skin.

The best first cleanser to use for problem prone skin who double cleanse. Easy to use. Make sure you emulsify with water for a minute before washing off

Perfect for easy make up removal
Love this cleanser, it does what it says on the tin and even removes waterproof make up. Easy to bung in your hands in the shower and all my make up is gone with one wash!

Such a good cleanser. I use this to remove my make up. It’s fab, the makeup melts away. Super gentle on the eyes too! Great 1st step cleanser
