Not keen
I hate the oily texture of this product, but I have combination skin. I’d say it would be a good retinol for intermediate users who don’t mind slower results but with less skin reaction.

Strong retinol
Was really pleased to find the ordinary had a stronger retinol, I’ve worked my way through them so had no reaction to this even with quite sensitive skin. Love everything about the ordinary skincare and this product is just as good as the rest!

Go To Night Serum
Have been using for 2 years+ stein Is great, having a retinoid rather than retinol allows for more regimen combinations and the squalene means no additional moisturiser needed at night. I find 5% to be no issue, especially as using overnight so no UV exposure but did build up from 2% to begin with. Must keep in storage as suggested to avoid UV interactions with the ingredients.

No irritation.
I started on the granactive retinoid 2% in emulsion before trying this. I found this tk be just as gentle on the skin and have experienced no irritation whilst using.
