With beauticians still shut we’re having to fend for ourselves with our DIY pampering. If you’re like us and are missing your essentials, we’ve put together the best salon-worthy beauty treatments you can try at home.

Curly blow dry

For some, curly blow dries are a weekly essential but how exactly do you recreate a salon-worthy one at home? This is where hot brushes come in! Hot brushes are a great way to style and transform your hair with ease. We recommend the ghd Rise Professional Hot Brushor the BaByliss Hydro Fusion Hot Air Styler to give you the ultimate balance between volume and curl.

How to:

Step 1:To start, ensure your hair is 80% dry to prevent excess heat damage. Begin to section your hair off into desired partsand focus on one piece at a time.

Step 2:Next, run the brush under your chosen section from root to tip. Once you get to the end of the strand begin to wrap your hair around the heated barrel, all the way to the top.

Step 3:Once you’ve done this, remove the hair from the barrel and hold in place for 5 seconds before spraying with the OUAI Volumizing Hairspray. Repeat this on each section of hair and there you go! A salon-worthy blow dry from the comfort of your own home.

Top tip: If you want your curls to last all day we recommend holding them in place with the Denman Thermoceramic Rollers for at least an hour to fully set.

Gel manicure

If you’re fed up of chipped nails and fading colour, we have you covered. With our range of gel manicure sets it’s now easier than ever to replicate the salon look at home. We recommend using one ofthe Le Mini Macaron Gel Manicure Kit’s available in a variety of stunning colours, for an effortless application.

How to:

Step 1: Start by prepping your nails by filing the surface to remove and dirt and excess oils. You can do this using The Vintage Cosmetic Company Candy Stripe Manicure Purse.

Step 2:Apply a very thin layer of gel polish onto your nail and cure in the LED lamp for 30 seconds.

Step 3:Repeat this step and apply a second layer of gel polish and cure again.

Top tip: To make your manicure last extra-long, apply a top coat of nail varnish to prevent chipping.

Brow lamination

Create a natural alternative to brow lamination at-home, so you can give your brows a break from harsh chemicals. This style is excellent if you need to tame your arches or if you want to achievethe ultimate full look.

Step 1: Start by nourishing your brows. Use the RapidBrow Eyebrow Enhancing Serum to strengthen your hairs and encourage growth, giving you fuller brows to work with over time.

Step 2: Next, brush your hairs up using the benefit Angled Brow Brush & Spoolieto create your desired shape and curve. This is the perfect step to trim or pluck any unwanted stragglers!

Step 3: Finally, fill in your new brows with your desired product. We love the Clinique Super Fine Liner to create the ultimate natural brow lamination.

Top tip: To further set your brows in place use a clear mascara such as the Lime Crime Bushy Brow Gel.

Lash lift

Lash lifts are a great way to open up your eyes and save you the hassle of false lashes. Like brow laminations, they can be harsh on your delicate area so we’ve come up with a more natural alternative for the popular salon treatment.

Step 1: Invest in a good eyelash serum to help strengthen and grow your hairs. We love the DHC Eyelash Tonic to help fully transform your peepers.

Step 2: The next step is to dye your lashes. This will not only make them more prominent but will keep your hairs deeply conditioned. We recommend theDiego Dalla Palma Semi-Permanent Technical Water Resistant Mascarato really help create definition.

Step 3: Finish your look off with a mascara of your choice. The MAC Extended Play Lash Mascara is great to add further length and definition to your new lashes.

Top tip: Use a waterproof mascara to seal in your new look for longer.
