Perfect for creating tight curls and adding texture, the BaByliss Pro Titanium Expression 16mm Tong is an easy-to-use tool with smoothing technology.
Made with an Advanced Ceramics Heating System, the curler fast-tracks your style by heating up quickly, while protecting against flyaways with its ceramic-coated barrel supporting a high-shine finish. Featuring 11 temperature settings up to 210˚C, you can customise your curling based on your hair type, choosing a lower temperature for finer strands and a higher one for thicker lengths.
Preparation: Ensure hair is clean, dry, and tangle-free. Apply a heat protection spray if desired.
Heat Up: Plug in the tong and switch it on. Allow it to heat fully — the Advanced Ceramics™ Heating System ensures ultra-fast heat up and consistent temperature.
Section Hair: Divide your hair into sections for easier styling. Start with the lower layers and work your way up.
Curl: Take a small section of hair (about 2.5cm wide). Wrap the section around the 19mm titanium-ceramic barrel, starting near the root and winding toward the tip. Hold for 5–8 seconds depending on your hair type. Release the curl gently and allow it to cool for a longer-lasting result.
Repeat: Continue curling the rest of your hair, working in sections.
Finish: Once all sections are curled, let your hair cool completely. Gently separate curls with your fingers for a more relaxed look or leave them defined for a tighter finish. Set with hairspray if desired.
Switch Off and Cool: After use, switch off the tong, unplug it, and allow it to cool completely on a heat-resistant surface before storing.
