Swirl a small amount of foundation in the cap until it disappears into the brush. Tap away any excess. Buff onto your skin circular motions. This activates the minerals and transforms them from a powder to a silky cream. Repeat until you’ve achieved the coverage you want.

Good, but over liquid foundation
Firstly, I bought the powder in fair and its still very orangey, so for the price I wasn't impressed as I have to mix talc to lighten it! Secondly, it's okaaayyyy as a foundation powder if you want virtually no coverage. HOWEVER after using the il makiage foundation, this powder/talc mix over the top makes me look flawless and lasts majority of the day without budging! So if you want a good setting powder, then definitely buy it!!

Don't Ever Change
I've got sensitive, reactive skin (rosacea, I believe as well) and Bare Minerals have never ever given me any kind of reaction, but instead offer a natural cover that, which I particularly love, - hides redness and blemishes but somehow leave birthmarks etc to come through beautifully. I've read loads of reviews lately saying Bare Minerals has changed the formula on these, but I've not noticed any difference, and I buy very regularly as this is my every day (and every night) foundation. I hope it stays this way and indeed has not or will not be changed..! For me, it's been a game-changer since I discovered what a difference a good primer does underneath a mineral powder. (And for me, I've now tried a few, and keep coming back to Bare Minerals for that too.) For the foundation, I do a t h i n layer of the 'Original foundation' first, with a big fluffy powder brush (then use the Bare Minerals 'Well Rested' around my eyes and down the bridge of my nose with a denser flatter brush). I then follow up with a kabuki brush buffing in the 'Original foundation' wherever I need a bit more coverage (for me; around my nose, and on a scar on my chin, and lastly, I do, again a very thin round of the 'Original foundation' overall with a big fluffy powder brush, and this gives such a natural finish that looks just like my skin, but on it's very best days only. For reference, I am naturally a v e r y pale dark blonde with green eyes and the 'Fairly Light' is spot on for me, - seamless. I buy the 'Medium Beige' as spring starts to come and can then mix the two in different proportions throughout getting more and more tanned.

Staple in my make up bag for years!
I love this product and have been using it for years. It’s definitely light to medium coverage, so it’s ideal for everyday use when you’re wanting a more natural look. I think it gives my skin a bit of a glow and it takes literally under 30 seconds for me to apply it. I use it with their foundation powder brush which is so soft and works better with this than any of my other brushes. If you want higher coverage/more flawless look, I’ve used this as a powder over the top of a liquid foundation. It never irritates my skin and it feels weightless. Love that the brand is cruelty-free too.

Not for Dry Skin
This powder has rave reviews but I have to say it does not work for me. I have dry skin and occasional Rosacea (meaning my skin is sensitive too) and this powder foundation was recommended. But I have to say its coverage is not great (I do not use a huge amount) as it gets very drying/cakey after an hour or so, even though I use specialist moisturisers and Thermal Spring Water mist to keep my face hydrated. Overall if you have sensitive and/or dry skin not sure this will do much but add to existing issues that those of us with dry skin face.

Makes my skin look orange and wrinkly!
Argh, really wanted to like this however found its a very odd unnatural orange colour (shade fairly light) and it highlights every wrinkle and imperfection on my face rather than covering anything up, even though I’m not wrinkly without anything and makes my skin look very odd! For the price I’m very disappointed and will have to try and mix it to use it!
