Retexturise dry, bumpy, rough skin with derma-skincare brand CeraVe’s Smoothing Cleanser. The hydrating cleanser works to swiftly remove oil, dirt and makeup, while replenishing and reinforcing skin’s natural barrier with moisture-retaining hyaluronic acid.
Powered by an exclusive combination of three scientifically-identified essential ceramides, the lightweight cleanser helps to draw moisture in and combat irritants. A 0.5% concentration of salicylic acid offers a gentle chemical exfoliation, dissolving dead skin and pore-clogging impurities to encourage the appearance of a smoother surface.

Great cleanser
I have been using this cleanser for a few weeks and my skin is definitely feeling a lot smoother. I also haven't had as many breakouts as usual. The one thing I will say is that it says fragrance free but there is a smell to it that I'm not such a fan of.

This is the best cleanser I have ever used. It doesn’t strip oil off your face but it leaves your skin feeling smooth and clean. I wish I could post my before and after photos. Every since I started using it, I have had zero break outs. After using it I apply the Ordinary’s ascorbic acid with AHA on my face and moisturize with Cera Ve moisturizer(Dry to very Dry skin) . This cleanser is amazing for acne and acne-prone skin! My brother uses it every night and has really helped his acne. It's gentle enough to use every day for most people- just don't use any other exfoliants and moisturise after! If it's your first time using SA, you may purge but it's a great starter for introducing chemical exfoliants as the actives are washed off.

It does what is says
I am an combination to oily skin type with textured skin and a lot of bumps. I used it for a month consistently (day and night) and there was a noticeable difference. My skin became smoother and that’s about it. If all you want is to smoothen out your skin, this is for you. But for my skin, I broke out very often in little amounts (every 3 days) around my cheeks. It did smooth them out within a day and a half. I just found that a tad annoying.

Helps keep skin clear
This is great if you're prone to spots as salicylic is good for keeping skin clear. I bought it after suffering the dreaded 'mascne' spots on my chin and it's really helped to clear it up. I also like that it isn't scented as fragrance in skincare can somteimes irritate my skin and it's not too drying like some salicylic products can be. I think I will be buying this again when I run out.

Very good for a low price
My skin is very sensitive so I need to be very careful with what products I use, this cleanser is not aggressive, calms my skin and it feels very clean without needing to use a lot of product, it feels a bit dry after use so if your skin is too dry maybe try something else

Good for acne-prone skin
This is a great cleanser for someone with combination acne-prone skin. I wouldn't necessarily call it "hydrating" however, it doesn't strip the skin like many other cleansers do. I don't think it does much in terms of "retexturizing", as it claims, but it cleanses well and doesn't make me break out so would definitely recommend it.
