Teaming an oversized brush with an innovative oil-in-water wax formula, Yves Saint Laurent presents the Lash Clash Mascara. The thick, yet creamy, formula offers extreme volume with up to 24-hour wear, combining hyper-black pigments and smudge-resistant boosters for long-lasting drama and definition.
Featuring a patent-pending double conical brush, the volumising mascara coats lashes with high-impact, buildable colour, layer after layer. Iris florentina extract infuses the formula, helping to condition lashes with every coat. Designed to create intense volume, lift and curl in just five strokes, Lash Clash is your secret weapon for high-impact lashes.
Step 1: Sweep - Start applying the mascara at the root of the lash and sweep the wand upwards, separating lashes with the double conical brush.
Step 2: Lift- Apply the 2nd swipe by holding the mascara at the root of the lashes, wiggle the mascara brush and lift to lash tip.
Step 3: Zig-Zag Up - For the 3rd coat, apply to lash and zig-zag upwards ensuring the full lash is coated.
Step 4: Zig-Zag Down - Apply on top of the lash and sweep the mascara wand upwards for massive impact
Step 5: Flick - Apply the brush to the lash for the 5th coat, flick the brush through the lashes to separate each lash. On the inner & bottom lashes, use just the tip of the brush and apply to individual lashes.

I’m always trying new beauty products, but this is one i’ll repurchase a million times. If you’re looking for a dramatic mascara this is it. It’s dark and intense, as well as super lengthening and sooo much volume. I’ve never had any issues with smudging, it dries pretty hard on the lashes and keeps them in place. Because of that it can be a bit harder to take off but not terrible.

Lumpy mascara
I'm a little disappointed with this mascara. The brush is so big it's awkward to get all lashes. The formula is a little lumpy. I will try my trick with older mascara and give it a spray with optical eye moisturiser.

So disappointed!
I purchased this mascara as I watched make up artist Hannah Martin use this mascara and thought I'd give it a try. I'm blessed with very long lashes top & bottom ( I'm 67 ) so a good mascara is really important. I can truthfully say this is the WORST I've ever used. My lashes were coated in horrible crumbles, lumps and flakes that migrated onto my face and into my eyes. I know not to pump the wand so I can only assume my mascara was faulty. I now have to return it and go back to my usual one from LF, and try the new Charlotte Tilbury.

My Favourite Mascara
I LOVE this. It's dark, long wearing, and makes my eyelashes look incredible. It's everything I've ever wanted in a mascara, and as a plus point - the packaging is lush. One suggestion - buy some saline solution. It gets a bit dry after about 10 uses, so pop 3-5 drops of saline solution into the mascara, and it'll last for ages!
