Institut Esthederm Photo Reverse Anti-Brown Patches Ultra High Protection Fluid (50ml)

I bought this product because a respected UK based make-up artist suggested- if it's good for her celebrities clients it has to work for me, that was my thought... I purchased it just before leaving for a 4 week vacation in Rio de Janeiro in June- it's winter over there, meaning the sun wouldn't be extreme. I didn't go to the beach, I mainly used it when I was out for a walk in the morning between 8-10 AM. The application was fine, the product melt into your skin but it leaves white traces. It smells fine, not too strong in my opinion. But sadly when I came back home to Sweden I had horrible freckles all over my cheeks! It was so bad that my husband noticed it. I am not sure if I used the product incorrectly or if my skin didn't accept it well. I honestly had high expectations because I am prone to pigmentation and I have dormant freckles on my cheeks. I am still not sure what happened there.

Just bought this for our skiing trip - my skin gets brown patches even if used spf 50 high quality cream. This one blocks out the sun entirely, plus lightens the skin at the same time. The price on lookfantastic.com was a little cheaper than in Space NK, plus a free delivery. The delivery was within target time, packaging great. Overall, a great experience, will definitely order again!

Product is well received in a good condition package. Also, the product provided good sunscreen coverage, resolving my freckles problems. I have freckles since a kid and never come across any product which will be effective for me. This sunscreen works well for me under the strong sun now. I have a few dark spots on my face, possibly from sun damage in the past. I had high hopes for this Institut Esthederm Photo Reverse Anti-Brown Patches Ultra High Protection Fluid product but after 5 days in roughly 22c sunshine I don't see any difference. The product itself is confusing 'high protection' then elsewhere on the bottle 'sun: no' so does it offer sunscreen protection or not? I still don't know. I didn't take the risk and I used suncream on top of this. Perhaps that is why it didn't do what it said it would do - but I would sooner keep my dark spotes than invite sun damage by having unprotected areas. Overall I was disappointed and confused by this product and I wouldn't waste money on another tube. Positive note: the packaging is lovely and it isn't at all bulky for packing.

This Institut Esthederm Photo Reverse Anti-Brown Patches Ultra High Protection Fluid is a high quality, scentless product but leaves quite an oily finish especially as it wears.

Is really helping with my brown spots and I have gotten no sunburns since using this fluid.
