Molton Brown Ylang-Ylang Wash 500ml (worth £30)

Smells fantastic, feels fantastic. A must have in my bathroom!

This body wash is lovely, think lying on a beach on a deserted exotic island with beautifully scented flowers wafting over you on a warming breeze. The ylang ylang is very warm, exotic without being too spicy. It's a little bit dark and sexy, feminine but definitely not girlie, it layers well with both woody and spicy perfumes and is a fantastic base for any oriental perfume, complimenting other exotic notes not clashing with them. It lathers up well despite my being in a serious hard water area and leaves my skin soft, moisturised and beautifully scented all day. Coupled with the matching body lotion you really don't have to bother with perfume if you don't want to. I am constantly being asked, what's that you are wearing with people assuming I must have a new perfume. Hubby doesn't have a very sensitive nose and never comments until I used this, every time he notices and loves it. Not a great believer in scent having an effect on mode this could persuade me otherwise. It is so relaxing, a warm comforting hug from an exotic breeze wrapping you in a heavenly exotic fragrance. Leaving you with the bonus of the whole upstairs smelling wonderfu. I find I drop off more quickly and have a more restful nights sleep if I shower with this in the evening. Using it in the morning I feel calm, confidant and happy, it definitely puts a smile on my face, my skin feels like silk and I know I'm going to smell great all day. It feels too good to use everyday but I love it so much I can't resist it. If you love exotic, spicy or woody perfumes, think Jo Malone dark amber and Gingerlily, Tom Ford Black Orchid, Opium etc etc etc, then this will be a great start to the layering process, giving a deeper more complex result and making your perfume last longer,,
