Great, even for Afro hair

I’m mixed-race and have Afro hair but I don’t get it chemically straightened as I find it leaves my hair too straight and limp. Instead I blow dry it and then straighten it myself and find that does the trick. I’ve been searching for ages for a product to use alongside my straighteners to protect my hair and give it shine, etc too. I found that most products geared towards Afro hair just left my hair way too greasy, while others just left it dry, very fly-way and then frizzy. This product is really great though. You just spray a bit on before using the straighteners, it helps them glide through your hair easily and there are no fly-away hairs afterwards or anything. I agree that too much leaves your hair greasy though, so best to use a couple of sprays per section. It also smells great and isn’t too expensive, considering the prices of some other professional styling products. I’ve just ordered the Shampoo, Conditioner and Smoothing Lusterizer and am looking forward to trying them out tonight!

Yeah, and it makes hair shine. Smells wonderful and AMY-- is right, it makes hair greasy if too much is applied. But otherwise a good product. I use this under a flat iron and it makes my hair stay straight and on that position without applying any other styling product.

The best!

The best product to use before ironing (I've tried GHD sprays and Redken Iron Silk). Leaves a beautiful shine without looking greasy. The hair looks, feels and smells great!

Gives great shine and smells very good! Be careful to use just a small amount though, too much makes your hair greasy. But overall a great product!

I love this hairspray, I used with my straighteners and got a amazing result. My hair was considerably shinier and smoother. But as most people have said if too much is applied this product can leave your hair greasy overall a fantastic product and I will definitely buy again :)

Good product - but don't use too much

I apply this to dry hair just before straightening it with GHD's. Make sure you apply it sparingly to the length and ends of your hair only as it can turn your hair greasy if you apply too much! When used properly it makes hair really soft and smooth. I find it works much better than the GHD Thermal Protector and smells better too.

Really pleased

My hair is very over processed, its bleached and I have to straighten everyday. So far, I really like this. I like how it sprays more like a mist and doesn't make your hair have that horrible sizzling noise that other heat sprays do. Hair is left smooth and soft after using. The smell is nice and can be used on wet or dry hair.

Really does what is promised but makes a mess...

For my hair, this product delivers what is promised. The problem is, no matter how carefully and sparingly I use it, my small bathroom always ends up with a layer of great shine, too...

I agree that product should be misted over hair lightly as it can cause it to look greasy, overall though a good product with a great smell !
