Holy grail
This is from the perspective of a woman with fine, sparse hair. I can finally have silky smooth legs without razor bumps and without shaving every day. Personally for me, it doesn't hurt, it feels more like a satisfying scratch with the ocasional sting here and there. It is worth the hype. If you have thick hair and usually shave, it will hurt. But only the first time. After that, the hairs grow at different paces so if you epilate every week, you only need to remove a few hairs at a time rather than the whole bush. I haven't tried the underarms so far (just waxed) but I expect that it will be a bit more painfull the first couple of times. To make everythinvlg easier, epilate in small sections as much as you can tolerate the pain, after a few minutes you kinda go numb. I haven't tried the shaver head and close skin cap but so far it's looking good. Best thing that I bought for myself.
