Blue shampoo
So my hair was a medium brown and I decided to do my own balayage... although it turned out ok my hair was 50 shades of copper... which wasn't really the lift I wanted. So I used this on 'dry hair' wearing gloves I caked it all over my dry hair on the orange bits and left for 15min. When washing my hair i mixed a bit more with my regular shampoo and let it sit for a further minute and conditioned. I was absolutely amazed, turned my orange to a lovely golden colour, so the next time I decided to leave it on for 30min and and results were even better! I would def recommend using this on dry hair once a week. I haven't used it on wet hair yet so I can't comment. But fab product, lifts orange copper tones really well.
Seems to be working
Recently I used a bleach from dying my hair dark brown and wanted to go light. Of course the bleach turned my hair blonde/ ORANGE.. So got this shampoo not the conditioner. I have only used this twice and a lot of people are commenting at work saying my hair is so much lighter now (not orange anymore) I'm actually amazed. Only reason I haven't give this 5 stars is because I have only used this the couple of times and still hoping to expect more from this product. Seems alright so far :)
Nice shampoo but didn't work for me
I bought this shampoo to tone down unwanted red/copper tones in my mid/dark brown hair, sadly it has not made any noticeable difference. I have used it quite a few times now along with the conditioner and my hair is still very orange /ginger toned. This left my hair looking very shiny but didn't do what it was supposed to. I am not sure if it would work better if left on longer but I left it on for a few minutes in the shower as directed.
LIFE SAVER
I suffer a lot from red and copper tones in my brown hair. With it getting hotter and the sun brighter my hair goes like as do the copper tones #ginge. I looked online As to how to get ride of these tones and previously last year I purchased purple shampoo but when it arrived it said it was for blondes so I gave it to my mum. However recent I realized blue shampoo is best for brunettes. You can see results from the first wash! It's literally saved me from having a melt down of having just off ginger hair. I can't recommend this product enough or any brunettes that have got a hint of copper that needs getting rid.
