Melt away all traces of the day with the Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Cleansing Oil. The lightweight formula from the Korean skincare brand gently removes makeup, impurities, excess oil and SPF, perfectly priming skin for subsequent formulas.
Blended with soybean oil, the cleanser provides a refreshing burst of hydration with every application, helping to minimise feelings of dryness without clogging the pores. This nourishment is enhanced further with a ginseng complex, plumping the skin with moisture for dewy, supple-looking results. Complete with a pump applicator.
- Recommended Amount: 1-2 pumps.
- Application: Gently massage into dry skin to remove impurities. Add a bit of lukewarm water to emulsify and rinse clean.

Strong scent but works well
This product does have a fairly strong smell but I’ve got used to it after using for a week or so. I’ve found it massages into the skin well and foams up well after adding water. I’ve only used it to effectively cleanse light make up so far, haven’t used on mascara yet.

Game Changer
I LOVE this product, it has made such a difference in my skin. My sebaceous filaments on my nose are now almost non existent. This cleanser leaves skin feeling so silky soft. It’s such an affordable price for a product that’s so effective. I’ve seen other comments talking about the fragrance. For me I didn’t think the fragrance was very strong at all however I was used to using Elemis before this which is heavily fragranced.

Excellent oil cleanser but…
…the instructions on the box state ‘follow with a foam cleanser’ indicating that it must need washed off with a further product. My skin feels so soft with this oil cleanser and yes it does have a strong ‘herbal’ spa scent it is not unpleasant. I was worried that without using the stated follow in foam cleanser my skin would break out as I suffer occasional spots but it has has not. The fact it is supposed to be used for ‘double cleansing’ ie using a foam cleanser after- I have found that it is fine not washing it off after - just ensuring i emulsify with water and rinse thoroughly and my skin is almost glass like and so soft I could almost be tempted to skip moisturiser on my dry/combination skin!
