- Recommended Amount: 2-3 pumps.

The best spray for volume on dry hair!
There may be slightly better (and only slightly )sprays to achieve more volume before you blow dry wet hair. But some sprays can only be used on wet hair, Color Wow Raise the Root can be used on both wet AND dry and that's what makes it so wonderful!! If your hair goes flat after styling this spray is a miracle and really prolongs your blow without using any more heated tools. If you have curls tip your head down and spray focusing on the roots and..OMG the hold and volume is incredible!! It only goes crispy if you use too much, so the users complaining of that only had to use a little less , it does brush out easily. But I don't mind a slight hair crunch because the hold is great 👍 if you do use too much it won't dry out your hair. Personally I prefer another spray for wet hair though. THIS spray is perfect for the AMAZING volume on dry hair between washes. I have fragile shoulder length coloured blonde hair and don't like to wash and style it too much, this spray gives me a few extra days and is the best for volume by far on pre styled.hair. If you want a product for super volume and hold that will look after your colour this is the spray for you. I would be lost without it. If only loses a star because there is another spray that gives the same incredible volume and bounce on wet hair with superior heat protection. But I can't use that product on dry hair..This spray isn't quite as caring as others on wet hair. But if you are looking for a product that gives unbelievable volume between washes that won't dry out your hair this is it!👍 It's also better for bleached hair as some volume products make colour fade. It also extends your wash if you are looking to improve your hair condition by stopping over washing..it really is THAT good.

Sticky and hard
I bought this after hearing great things online about it. Unfortunately I found it horrible stuff. It left my hair feeling all hard, crispy and sticky. I had to wash it the next day to get rid of the horrible tackiness. Wouldn't recommend at all
