Purify your skin with COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid, an exfoliating solution infused with 4% natural BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acid) to help decongest pores and reduce blackhead formation.
Clinically proven to reduce blackheads and excess sebum, the formula combines hydrating Sodium Hyaluronate with White Willow Bark and Niacinamide to brighten and clarify whilst gently eliminating impurities and dead skin cells. Its purifying properties leave skin feeling renewed, refreshed and healthier.
Free from parabens, artificial colourants, triethanolamine and phthalein.
Dispense the power liquid onto a cotton pad or hands and swipe a thin layer of the liquid over the skin, concentrating on congested areas (such as the T-zone and chin) and over blackheads and blemishes. Pat in gently for absorption.
This product is best used on clean skin after toner and before your usual PM routine, since it is a highly concentrated formula. Begin using only once a week and, once your skin has adjusted to it, increase to two to three times a week to decrease the visibility of pores and treat blemishes. Apply SPF if you're going outside the next morning.

I feel cursed with a dry dehydrated spot prone congested skin. In the last few years I have developed a horrific mess on lower and upper arms and legs from blocked pores and ingrown hairs. Because of the decent size of bottle, spreadability of the fluid, and the price, I got this specifically to use on my body but am also using it most days, twice a day, on my face too. I ordered my first bottle of this elsewhere about 2 months ago and have nearly finished and so purchased two bottles from LF. I could not bear to be without this bottle of magic. I can genuinely think of no negatives to this product. So, the positives: Within the first week I saw noticeable improvements in what can be best described as a colony of blackheads and whiteheads on my face. The improvement on the pox like curse on my body was actually quite shocking. Nothing has really ever made a difference to the problem on my body [including Paula’s Choice 2% BHA body cream which is expensive and just doesn’t spread very well before it sinks in so you need far too much of it to get coverage]. Two months on and I am delighted. This is a product that I can use long-term for face and body. It is affordable enough to be able to use generously on face and body. It does not dry my skin at all and is bizarrely quite hydrating [I also bought The Ordinary’s 2% BHA a couple of weeks ago to try but it is a little harsher and drying]. In fact, I have given up using moisturisers most days across the past two months and am looking to change to a lotion instead of creams [as most creams block my pores]. Even using twice a day I didn’t get flaking unless I went overboard and added three layers of the stuff. So, if you are looking for something which is affordable and sustainable try this. If you have dry skin that is congested then try this. Give it a good trial run. If you are looking for something for your body then try this: it spreads beautifully [a couple of pumps will do both upper and lower arm]. I have had no roll off with any other product that I have used on top of this [although I don’t use make up so can’t comment on this]. Note: One month in to using this product I started using retinol products most evenings and this is the regime I am sticking with now.

Lovely but not strong enough for me!
I have combo-oily skin with some blackheads around my nose, and visible pores to the side of my nose onto my cheeks which is what I wanted to address with this product. I use it after cleansing, let it sit for 20-30 minutes as is normal for a chemical exfoliator, then proceed with the rest of my routine. It has done nothing for me, which is both a good and a bad thing! Bad, because obviously I still have the same problem to address. Good, because I had no adverse reaction (please bear in mind though my skin is not very sensitive). I have now ordered The Paula’s Choice BHA as I feel that may suit me better. I don’t like to leave reviews without giving any product a fair trial first as I don’t think it’s helpful, so I can say that after using around 75% of the bottle I won’t be repurchasing, as much as I wanted to love this gentle product it just doesn’t suit me. For that reason I can say that I WOULD recommend it to anyone with dry/sensitive skin or if you’re new to BHA exfoliants. It’s a gentler formulation than other products in the same category so the reasons it doesn’t work for me could be the reasons it’s perfect for you. Rated 5* as my issues with this weren’t due to any problems with the product itself, just lack of suitability. Also because super gentle BHA products are generally underrepresented in this area of the skincare market so it’s great to see something available for people who can’t use regular BHA products.
