Estee Lauder Futurist Hydra Foundation
Glad i bought this foundation. I have loved the Double Wear but fancied something a little 'lighter' on the skin for the warmer months (well, i come from Northern Ireland so things don't really heat up here lol). The EL Futurist Hydra is beautiful and didn't disappoint, beautiful coverage and a little goes a lonnnggggg way! As usual Look Fantastic delivery was super quick! Lovely foundation but shades are different to other Estee Lauder foundations
This foundation is lovely and I would definitely reccomend, lovely texture, dewy, good coverage and stays all day with a bit of powder over the top. I have used Estee Lauder for about 15 years and still love it. I am a 2N1 Desert Beige in double wear and double wear light... so why not buy the same shade.. same brand! Nope, its a whole shade darker. Tried customer Services who were polite but said as it was opened I was stuck with it. So... if you are usually a 2N1 then go a shade lighter otherwise you will be stuck with a foundation that's too dark to use abd not cheap.

Beautiful dewy finish
I decided to give this a go after watching several reviews on You Tube. I am combination skin with fine lines and wrinkles and I do like a dewy foundation. This came highly recommended so I thought i would try it. The finish is definitely dewy and medium to full coverage, you could definitely build it up if you needed to although I find one pump is enough to do my whole face. It is a very even, dewy finish and does not budge all day at work. The consistency is slightly thinner than my usual foundation but it is easy to work with and it does not oxidise or move/settle into lines. I can imagine this would be excellent to use in the winter time when my skin becomes drier, at the moment i am using a powder in my t-zone which I have not had to do with my other foundations but again I think this is because it is very moisturising and dewy. It would not put me off purchasing it again. I am very happy with my purchase and the quality is lovely.

I’ve always spent ages mixing a thicker foundation with a thinner one to make sure I had good coverage but it felt light on my face.... look no further. This is the BEST foundation I’ve ever owned. I love it so much I’ve bought it for all my friends and family ha! It’s got perfect coverage, feels light, and is still on my face at the end of the day. It’s not cakey, it’s just perfect. Gorgeous foundation
I received this foundation today, I was a bit worried as I use double wear so thought this might be too sheer a cover but wow I was wrong - this foundation glides on to the skin and gives a lovely cover - my skin looks lovely like my own but so, so much better! The foundation does not sit in any fine lines which is fab for my 49 year old skin! I am so pleased I bought this and would definitely recommend this. A little goes a long way so it should last.

It gives a medium coverage I would say. It is glow inducing and seems to even out my skin tone. It doesn’t crease and lasts all day. a lovely light feeling foundation
like many other reviewers I am a huge double wear fan but wanted a less heavy and drying foundation for day wear and I am not disappointed. I picked the shade closest to my usual toasty toffee by code and it is spot on. one coat is enough to give me a nice evenness to my complexion (which has a few age spots) and a bit of a glow but I found layering it also for a more concealed finish is so easy and still feels really nice and moisturising on my face and neck! very pleased with my decision!

I have to be honest I didn’t have high hopes for this product. I have dry skin and I’ve tried so many foundations that I’d given up finding one (even with putting primers on beneath etc). This item came today and I used it straight away because I was excited. I LOVE it and the glow is amazing. It’s light and doesn’t feel cakey like a lot of foundations. I loved double wear before I had dry skin so much but this I’d absolutely recommend & I will continue purchasing it. It’s quite watery and is best put on with a foundation brush not a sponge (you get less coverage with sponge)!
