ghd bodyguard creates two levels of heat protection between the heat of a styling tool and the hair using polymers and conditioning agents. The bodyguard heat spray coats each strand of hair for a smoother-looking finish ready for styling. Use with all tools from hairdryers to straighteners and tongs for ultimate thermal protection and great hair.

Separate the hair in horizontal layers starting at the back of the neck. Apply 2-3 pumps of ghd bodyguard from a product's distance from the hair. Continue working up in layers to create an even distribution of product through the hair. Brush through and style as normal using your favourite ghd tool.
Style Tip. Apply ghd heat protect spray first if you’re layering it up with other styling products.

Awful Texture & More Breakage
This made my hair noticeably more unmanageable, frizzy and prone to humidity after straightening than without any heat protectant at all and gave it an awful texture. I’ve also noticed more split ends and breakage when using. For reference I have fine but dense hair that’s highlighted.

Wasn’t for me
With the positive reviews I wanted to love this but the truth is, I’ve noticed FAR more breakage since I started using this. My hair gets knotty way more easily and it does leave my hair feeling weighted and greasy. On a separate note, the price really isn’t justifiable. I have average length hair, just below my shoulders and I have run out of this within just a few months. I wash my hair once a week and apply heat maybe once a week at most. For that reason alone, I absolutely wouldn’t ever purchase this again
