Not my favourite
Us curly ladies must waste so much money on trying different products and unfortunately this one isn’t for me, thankfully it wasn’t such an expensive item (this time!). It’s quite a thick consistency which I find difficult to distribute evenly through through my 3C hair. I found mixing it with a little water helped. I also found it a little drying, my next day curls were dry on the ends. This isn’t to say the product isn’t a good one, just doesn’t suit me, I’ll order some more of my Boucleme gel which suits my hair better.

Good all round gel
I used this over my Giovanni leave in and it performs well doesn’t cause fizz or drying as many gels I’ve tried have. It’s very thick so I water it down which means I don’t needs as much so last a long time. I do have to re wet my hair a little after applying though as I get a bit of flash drying from it.

Amazing gel for naturally curly Hair
I have been using this gel for just over two years now & I cannot believe I haven’t left a review before now! This gel gives a good cast isn’t sticky & has a pleasant smell. I put it on my hair when it’s very wet I smooth it through with a brush scrunch the gel in & diffuse or air dry for beautiful frizz free curls. I won’t use anything else. I dread the day it stops being produced.

Too thick
I have a low porosity thin hair, and this gel is definitely not my favourite. Even if I put a tiny amount or much more, use a ton of water, or put it in dump hair, my hair just get sticky, no definition at all. My advice is that always start with a smaller bottle, and if it works buy the bigger.

Great gel for curly routine
Great gel. I scrunch in a 10p sized amount and leave my hair to dry, once dry I scrunch it out. It leaves no trace other than great hold.

Strong hold
The only gel that can keep my waves in place for more than a day. Even though my hair is fine and there's not much of it, most gels can hold for a day at most, sometimes only a few hours. This gel can hold for 2-3 days with a refresh.
