This is one of my favourite foundations. I have combo skin and it gives me an even base. It’s medium-full coverage but I like to mix it with Saie super-glowy gel to give me a lighter coverage. It doesn’t crack or separate and stays on for my 13 hour shifts. I am prone to breakouts but this hasn’t caused any breakouts for me.

I’ve been skeptical using this foundation since they stopped the pro long wear foundation years back. I only usually use this foundation when I wear fake tan which isn’t often. (NC30 pairs nicely with coco & Eve dark / extra dark tan). I’d purchased a lighter everyday shade a couple of years ago with studio fix foundation and I felt like it didn’t stay on my face all day and was disappointed. Since then the past couple of years I’ve been using Estée Lauder double wear foundation (shade 3C0 Cool cream) and was fairly happy even though I found it started to come off half way through the day. Last week I decide to try Mac Studio fix foundation again and using the colour match with my current Estée Lauder foundation, gave me the shade N6.5 and it was a perfect match. So glad I’ve tried this foundation again and this shade lasts all day. I used with a fluffy foundation brush and it’s so easy to apply. So happy I’ve found my new favourite foundation :)

I was a little sceptical about trying this as I’d read some reviews saying it’s not as good as the original, however it’s hard not to like! The bottle is much better and it’s easier to get the foundation out without having to buy the pump separately and the foundation is easy to apply, it isn’t thick & doesn’t leave streaks. The colour match is the same as the original and it still seems to last all day without any smudging or movement. I will buy again
