This is my go to foundation, I have used bars foundation since I was 16 (nearly ten years) it’s the only brand that is good for my skin..: I prefer medium to full coverage due to my bad skin and this is good foundation to build up on! I’ve tried various other brands but this is the best!

Don’t waste your money
This foundation is terrible and not worth the money at all. I heard so many good things and thought I had to try. What a disappointment I have oily skin and used it with various primers and it lasts on my face for about an hour before it slides off like oil. Also highlighted some flaky areas that I didn’t even know I had till I put this on. I will be sticking to my Estée Lauder double wear foundation. I’ve literally tried all of the big names and I go back to double wear each time.

Quite drying
I am a big fan of Nars and wear their sheer glow foundation day to day. Bought this to have for days when I need bit more coverage and have found that it is quite drying and can cake a bit as the day goes on. My skin can be dry though so may suit others better.

Great foundation, long wearing. I have acne and very oily skin but this foundation sits so nice on my skin! A little goes a long wear. You can build this foundation up also I would say it is a medium cover. Also this foundation hasn’t made my skin breakout which is a first!! I’ve tried so many foundation but I have to stay this is my favourite!! Will be re-purchasing.

The coverage is amazing. That I must say. It does create a very nice radiant finish, however, this accentuates every f-ing flake on my face, and even creates some that weren't there before. I do use other mattifying foundations as well - I use MACs studio fix with no issues with flaking. Using the same toner/moisturizer/primer/fixing spray and everything, this makes my skin into a flaky mess. I tried different products as base, different methods of applying, exfoliating my face with enzymes right before applying, even shaving my face on the evening before applying. Fingers, brush, sponge, primer, no primer, different primer, setting powder, no setting powder. Nothing could make my face look even half presentable while wearing this. I ended up only wearing it at home in poor lighting, just to test if it's at least longwearing (so I can see if I need to bother myself with finding a way to make it work), and it's not. Cakes super fast - I do get cakey around my mouth with most foundations, however, it is by far the worst with NARS foundation. I've previously tried sheer glow, and I "hated" that one too. I love the brand, I love that they don't include perfume in their products, and I use quite a lot of their make up.. but NARS foundations are just not my thing.
