Offering 5-in-1 protection, Redken’s Extreme Anti-Snap Treatment is formulated to visibly smooth and replenish weakened hair types. The leave-in treatment protects against chemical, heat, mechanical and surface damage, while minimising the risk of future breakage.
The formula is enriched with Redken’s Strength Complex, acting as a deep conditioner to reduce friction from brushing and minimise the appearance of split ends. With added heat protection up to 230⁰C, the treatment promotes stronger-looking hair.
- Application: Apply to fragile areas of hair, or all over while damp. Do not rinse out. Style as usual.
- Routine: For best results, use Extreme Shampoo and Extreme Conditioner prior to use.

Loving It So Far
I'm loving this so far. I have colour-treated type 4 natural hair (could be Z), my hair was breaking significantly and this has improved so much. Only thing I'm not sure if its leaving a coat/film on my hair. But as before my hair has stopped"snapping".

I have always struggled with fly aways after straightening my hair for so many years. I use this in conjunction with other products, but I have noticed that my hair is visibly less frizzy than usual. I also find that this has helped my hair retain its style (which is something I've also struggled with when I style my hair myself). Initially, I wasn't a huge fan of the scent, but I've grown to really like it, and I also find that a pump and a bit works fine for me, which I apply before and after blow drying. There are videos on YouTube which show visuals of how to apply this product, which I also found helpful

I have been using this for years and it is still my favourite hair product. My hair is noticeable less fragile and feels so soft afterwards. You only need to you a small amount, so it lasts a long time as well. Would definitely recommend to anyone who’s hair has been a bit dried out after bleaching.
