Weleda Skin Food is delicately fragranced with refreshing essential oils including sweet orange and lavandula and can be used as a protective cream in harsh weather and is excellent for anyone regularly outdoors.
Directions of use:
- A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly.
- This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin.
- Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed.
- To deeply nourish hard working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

Verrrry thick
I dispensed this onto my finger tips ready to apply to my face when I realised how thick and greasy it is! I quickly ready the tube and it advised its for extremely rough areas such as elbows or hands etc. After reading reviews for this product, I had assumed it was good for the face but I'm a bit afraid to put it on my face now. So I used it on my hands which are very dry. I have to say I'm not in love with it compared to my aesop hand cream however, weleda is lovely and natural. It's just not as moisturising as i thought it would be, given the rave reviews online about it! Weekend the brand in general get a huge thumbs up from me however I just don't get the cult following online over this cream!

This cream would probably be good for really dry skin on elbows or feet etc but isn't really very nice for your face. It's far too thick, doesn't absorb very well and also smells quite bad.

As a person with oily skin, I was extremely apprehensive purchasing this product. The main reason a bought this was due to so many people recommending it. I use it as a moisturiser before applying my foundation or tinted moisturiser. This is an extremely THICK consistency moisturiser, however, it does leaves my skin looking absolutely amazing. It actually gives my makeup a lovely dewy but not greasy look, which I like. I have received so many compliments to say how smooth and lovely my skin looks lately. And this is the only new product which I am using alongside my normal everyday products. So it must be this. So I am happy with this product. I would purchase again.

Go to cream for me, I have really dry and sensitive skin so this is a must for when it’s cold outside, it’s pretty greasy I would say and it is easy to spread on your face so a little goes a long way, I like to slather myself in greasy moisturizers but this might not be for everyone however if you use this on your dry or cracked heels and feet and then put on a pair of fluffy socks, you’ll wake up with very smooth and hydrated heels
