Weleda Skin Food is delicately fragranced with refreshing essential oils including sweet orange and lavandula and can be used as a protective cream in harsh weather and is excellent for anyone regularly outdoors.
Directions of use:
- A little goes a long way, so apply sparingly.
- This very rich cream is best applied to the face by gently patting on, so as to avoid dragging the skin.
- Elsewhere on the body, gently smooth into the skin until the cream is absorbed.
- To deeply nourish hard working, dry hands apply liberally, cover with gloves and leave overnight.

heals the skin but clogs pores
It is a skin saviour in a way, but people with blemish prone skin should watch out because it clogs pores. I will buy again because nothing else treas irritated and flakey areas better than this cream. I would not recommend applying it on face though

Wouldn’t recommend
I wouldn’t recommend this if you have dry, sensitive skin. I hear so many people say good things about this moisturiser (those with normal-oily skin type). However for dry skin it just made the dryness a lot worse.

Good, can’t stand the smell!
Having seen rave reviews I got the smaller size to try, it’s really moisturizing for your face, takes work in your fingers to spread it out, almost feels like it gives the skin a coat to protect it. I however really can’t stand the smell so will use it sparingly and probably on dry hands aswell.

Super thick moisturiser
Really like this moisturiser. I bought it as I’ve seen people use it as a face moisturiser but I don’t think it’s ideal for the face, it’s incredibly thick so maybe if you have really really dry skin. I’ve ended up using it instead on dry hands and it works wonders. Smell isn’t overly pleasant but could be worse.
