Don't bother with this product unless your hair is bleached to a very light colour because it doesn't work on brassy tones it makes no difference so don't waste your money.......

Having decided to let my grey hairs come through after years of dying my hair dark, I’ve had to have highlights to blend them in. I’ve always had difficulty and so have the hairdressers in getting my highlights to a nice silver tone. So after having my highlights two weeks ago and purple shampoo not toning the brassy tones enough I decided to try this after reading the reviews. I did apply it to dry hair (as I needed the strongest lift) and left it on for about 25 mins. It’s really lifted the yellow tones out of my hair and finally I have silver tones. Easy to use toner. Perfect for neutralising brassy tones in blond hair. I have highlights which had turned yellow in the sun, particularly bleached highlights around my hairline. I added toner to areas worse affected and kept an eye on the colour. I would advise checking the through the development stage so you can stop at the right point, especially if you do not want to end up too ashy. I left the colour on for 10-15 mins and that was enough for me, obviously would depend on your original colour. It left my hair feeling soft and a lovely pale blond with a hint of ash, but not grey which was important to me as I spend most of my time trying to disguise the grey!! Easy to use, good results, reasonably price and gives salon worthy results.
