I often use this when I'm not going anywhere particularly special and don't want to deal with a gel taking a long time to dry. It's great for everyday use as it still gives my curls some defenition but my hair dries as quickly as it would with no product in. I don't think this makes my curls look as good as when I do use gel, but it definitely makes my hair look nice enough for work.
