Catering specifically for coiled and curly hair textures, the As I Am Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner gently cleanses the hair and scalp without stripping moisture.
Enriched with natural ingredients, the revitalising treatment blends Castor Oil, Tangerine and Coconut Oil to effortlessly eliminate product build-up and impurities, whilst promoting healthy hair growth to reveal luscious locks that are easy to manage. Suitable for daily use.
Safe for colour-treated hair.
- Wet hair thoroughly. Rub a liberal amount within palms and distribute throughout hair.
- Work product through hair and massage scalp with fingertips as you would a conventional shampoo.
- Carefully detangle hair with a wide-tooth comb, then rinse well.
- Repeat only if necessary to remove excessive product build-up or for further scalp cleansing.

I’d never heard of a co wash!
I’d never heard of a co wash before trying to find a product that would suit my hair type. I have fine hair but lots of it, it’s dry and porous, it gets very frizzy and sometimes I can’t really do anything with it. I thought I’d give this a try, even though I don’t have curly hair, although I think it would be curly if I put an effort in! This has really helped my dry hair, I use it 3 times a week instead of shampooing the use the leave in conditioner. I only shampoo maybe once every couple of weeks now.

Even good for fine hair
I have fine 2a hair and find this brilliant. The slip is great for strangling my hair and it leaves it feeling really clean but also moisturised without the need for another conditioner. I don’t know how it works, but it does!

I like this...sometimes?
Sometimes this gives me such soft voluminous hair and others, it leaves my hair greasier than before I got in the shower. I've no idea why - I'm not doing anything different, not that there's many different ways you can massage this into your hair and rinse it out - but it stops me from reaching for it more often. Same amount used each time, and always thoroughly washed out because I'm paranoid about it now. I don't know. I've had better results using it every 4 washes in a cycle rather than more often. It's a great cowash but just not my fave because of the random greasy hair. I prefer Aunt Jackie's over this, it's more reliable.
