Unsure
Still undecided on this shampoo - heard good things about it and as I get greasy hair very easily I thought would give it a try. Smells nice but hasn’t made much of a difference so far compared to a couple of other brands I’ve tried. I will give it a few more try’s though to make sure

Dries your scalp
I was glad I purchased the travel size so I could test this out. Unfortunately, this dried out my scalp and left it feeling really itchy. It does have a nice minty smell and it does feel cool on your scalp, but it didn’t feel particularly clarifying. I wouldn’t recommend - sorry Aveda!

I purchased this shampoo as I had read a review that it really helped someone with blonde highlighted/bleached hair, more specifically when roots start to show their scalp like mine becomes oily and troublesome. I have never suffered with an oily scalp before, however when my natural roots start to show my scalp becomes oily. I thought this would be the answer after trying lots of other premium brand clarifying/purifying shampoo’s. I gave this a shot and used 5 times until the trial size bottle I bought had almost finished. The result every-time was flat, dull hair that left a silicone coating on my hair. Next day was even worse, even more oily and itchy. Smelt nice but disappointed and still on the hunt for something else.

Purifying Shampoo
I have never used a purifying shampoo before. It is only since that i have started watching Youtube (more time during Covid) and learning why such a thing as a clarifying shampoo is necessary. I have realised what the right products can do to improve ones hair. This shampoo is very gentle and moisturising. I have fine, thin, frizzy and coloured hair and this shampoo really seems to help. My hair also looked slightly fuller after using it and i now understand that my hair must have been overloaded with products, for decades! I don't use it every wash, it has a nice smell but i couldn't care less about that, i just want something to make my mangy locks look a bit better and i think it does.

I wanted to treat myself to some luxe haircare products in lockdown. I have shoulder length undyed dirty blonde hair, that is regular ie not limp or brittle or greasy. This product makes my hair look both greasy and dry at the same time. Terrible.

Smells good, a nice product.
As the title of this review says this shampoo really does smell lovely. The shampoo is good, my hair looks and feels good when I use it. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is that for the price point it is undoubtedly a lovely shampoo that makes my hair look good but it doesn’t provide the stunning results I would want from a shampoo that costs this much.
