Iffy
I really wanted to love this product and I have given a go numerous times but I guess its just not for me. First off, the dropper, eugh its a nightmare and absolutely pointless, you just end up with orange goo all over the bottle. Secondly the smell isn't for me and I guess that plays a large part in how you feel towards a product. And lastly, whilst it feels OK on my skin and was quite moisturising it just didn't have that wow factor.
Disappointed
I have been using this serum for about month. I didn’t make any difference to my skin. The pipette is too thick, so it’s difficult to use it. However the worst was the yellow colour it was leaving on my skin. Absolutely dissatisfied because I like the brand. I definitely won’t be buying it again as it was one of the worst vitamin c serums I purchased.
Beautiful Serum
I cannot possibly give this luxurious little bottle of delightfulness enough credit, it’s soooo nice, smells gorgeous and makes my skin bright, healthy and feel instantly velvety. I’ll definitely be repurchasing. I’m pretty confident you won’t be disappointed.
Pros and Cons
I've got sensitive and reactive skin that is of great quality as long as I am careful and stay quite simplistic in my skincare choices and I am a big fan of la Roche-Posay in general. I've passed 42 now and have been wanting to slowly add a bit more 'power' to my skincare and thought I'd start with this vitamin c serum from 'my' trusted brand. I don't know quite what to think (yet).. Cons, - I sadly have to agree with so many other reviews and say the pipette/dropper is of poor quality and that is such a shame (waste of product, messy and feel when using) and I join those who wish that la Roche-Posay creates a better quality airless pump or so. On me this serum is very sticky for a long while after (quite pretty but not that comfortable) and when I, as advised, add the next moisturiser (with spf and otherwise great), - there's lots of pilling; especially when layering makeup. Pros, - I've been using this for about three weeks and think my overall look of skin has improved a bit already; it's more even and the few lines I have on my forehead seem 'lighter'. It feels like there could be quite visible results if I keep using this. I wonder if this would be better for night time use for me, with the regards to the pilling etc.
Gives me a clear even tone
I’ve used every vitamin c out there. This is among the better ones. It’s not too sticky and o layer it with my retinol to help with the sensitivity. Works a treat and it doesn’t break the bank.
La Roche posay serum
Excellent serum! Made my skin bright and even. Would recommend
Looking good so far
Smells really nice and soaks in quickly without leaving a greasy residue.
helped with acne
I broke out the first few weeks of using it but I kept using it because I believed my skin was adjusting to a new product. I was right in doing so, after a month my skin completely cleared up. I think the salycilic acid in it really works well. I bought it just for the glow but it cleared up my skin so 'good surprise'. It makes my pillow cases orange so thats not the nicest thing about it..
Too thick...
I find this serum too thick. Kinda sits on the surface and leaves an orange colour on the skin. Won't be repurchasing which is a shame because I had heard such good things about this product and usually love LRP products.
My go to every night
This is such an easy product to use which I put on every night and faults are pretty instant. Skin feels so smooth and next day it really feels repaired. Swapped it for night serum and use this instead.
