Cannot say enough good things..
5…About this foundation. Creamy, great coverage and my skin is absolutely flawless after putting it on. Perfect for dry skin especially in winter. Not great if you get a bit sweaty as it can slide off your face. Just wish Mac did an organic chemical free range…

Lovely foundation
5Lovely foundation, full coverage and lasts all day. Just gutted I ordered the wrong shade but that was my fault, I would defiantly use this again probably one of the nicest foundations I have ever used. High end product but not over the top price tag.

Flawless base if you have dry skin but must be applied correctly
5I LOVE LOVE LOVE the finish of this foundation but over the years I have perfected its application. Firstly, it is better suited to dry skin as I find you need to use several good hydrating base products for it to reach its maximum potential. It is very thick but if applied like a moisturizer it can be blended out for that beautiful maximum cover glass-like finish. Its definitely not a foundation to be used by a novice as if you use too much or apply it wrong it can look very thick and cakey. I also feel it needs a shade in-between NC15 and NC25. I'm still going to give it 5 stars as it's a foundation every artist should have and it's great for on camera, the regular person inexperienced should stick to MAC studio fix and that's a lot easier to work with.

Horrendous "fair warm" shade
2I don't have too many problems with the formula of this, though I did think the coverage could be a bit better given the price and how it is advertised. It also doesn't blend super well with a damp sponge, though that's likely my application mistake as it's my first gel foundation. My key issue is the colour match – the undertone is all off. I bought NC15 as I know from experience that NC20 is too deep for me once I have blush and bronzer on. Despite NC foundations being specifically designed for warmer skin tones (because Mac likes to label things the other way around from literally every other brand) NC15 is basically a greyish salmon pink. It looks horrendous. For context I am fair-light with warm undertones and I wear Golden Ivory in L'Oreal True Match, 1W1 Bone in EL Double Wear, Salzburg or Deauville in Nars – I am lucky that most decent foundations have a shade that suits me fine. I also have a fairly good colour match with Mac Face and Body in C1, so I have no idea what they were thinking with this particular product. I tried adding a spot of very warm toned concealer that I use in the summer into it to give it a bit more yellow to balance it out and it was still unforgivably pink. Would suggest anyone with fair-light skin depth and golden, warm, olive, and even neutral undertones stay well away.
